Functionality hinges on filament friction and resilience; therefore, performance may vary with different filaments. The base cover and resistance ring primarily dictate the rewinding angle. The prototype utilized PolyLite (logo color) for printing and testing.
The 6-blade resistance ring typically yields satisfactory results. Appropriate resistance is indicated when the spiral ring on the inner bushing is fully compressed and the resistance ring begins to rotate.
For insufficient resistance, utilize a higher-blade-count resistance ring.
For excessive resistance, trim the resistance blades to reduce friction.
Newly printed components exhibit higher resistance; manual rotation is recommended for a few cycles to achieve operational stability.
Avoid excessively smooth or brittle filament (standard PLA is suitable) for the base cover and resistance ring.

默认情况下6叶阻力圈即可实现满意效果,阻力合适的标准表现为转动轴套时,内轴套的螺旋圈基本压缩完全时阻力圈开始转动。

Extensive testing revealed no discernible impact on print quality. If concerned, manually disable the rewind function during printing.

Extruder Burden(是否会对挤出机带来较大负担):

Extruders possess significant tension, capable of filament breakage. The added load from this spool holder is negligible (considering the spool radius's torque amplification effect), at least in my testing.

Disabling Rewind(停用回卷功能):
1.Temporary Deactivation: Press your thumb against the shaft cover and pull the claw or threaded bushing outward by 10 mm (a retaining clip prevents slippage)

2.Long-Term Deactivation: Remove the resistance ring for use as a standard spool holder, preventing spool wobble
长期停用,拆除掉阻力圈,即可当做普通料盘架使用,至少料盘不会晃来晃去
3.Permanent Deactivation: Remove all components
永久停用,全部拆掉即可

Filament Loading and Replacement(耗材的安装与更换):
During filament loading, avoid fully inserting the claw or threaded bushing; leave a 10 mm gap (pause mode). Complete insertion after loading eliminates the need for manual filament feeding (due to the rewinding force).

Important Note: Prior to installation, insert the central shaft into the inner bushing to assess rotational smoothness. Address any irregularities or apply petroleum jelly to facilitate smooth rotation. Note that warping during central shaft printing can cause binding.
