MODYLO: The Stacked Lamp

Make it truly unique!

By shifting a single "Randomizer" seed in the parameters, the vertical layers of the lampshade re-calculate their offsets. This creates a unique, hand-sculpted silhouette every single time you generate a new version. No two generations are exactly the same.

 

The Stacked Lamp is the first truly generative entry in the MODYLO collection. Moving away from static symmetry, the Stacked lampshade is composed of distinct vertical layers that shift independently based on a mathematical seed.

By changing the Randomizer parameter, the algorithm forces a new calculation of the offsets. This means that every time you generate a new version of the model, you get a unique, sculpted arrangement that has never been printed before. This version is also specifically optimized for the Bambu Lab LED Lamp kit, featuring a dedicated cable cutout in the base for clean wire management.

Customization

Because the Stacked lamp is defined by movement, the parameters offer total control over its chaos:

  • Base Height & Diameter: Set the proportions of your foundation.
  • Lampshade Height & Diameter: Define the overall scale of the light diffusion area.
  • Offset: Control how far each layer is excentric from the center. Higher values create a more dramatic, staggered look.
  • Randomizer: Change this value to roll the dice and generate a completely new stack arrangement instantly.

Note: This model is designed to be Customized, not Resized. Adjusting the parameters ensures the cable cutout and screw threads remain functional.

Printing Instructions

  • Lampshade: Enable Vase Mode (Spiralize Outer Contour). The layered geometry is optimized to catch internal light, creating glowing horizontal bands.
  • Base: Features an integrated Cable Path—ensure you use a high-quality filament to maintain the structural integrity of the base.
