Description

This alien egg lamp is designed without any extra parts needed for the build!

You only need the Bambu Lab LED kit!

Printing the Parts:

You’ll need to print the following:

1x Outer Structure
1x Base (for Bambu Lab LED Kit)
1x Top Structure Part
8x Bubbles (except the top middle bubble, which is printed once)
4x Feet

Assembly Steps:

1️⃣ Attach the Feet:

Insert the four feet into the holes in the base.
Rotate them 45 degrees to the right until you hear a click.
This requires some force but ensures a rigid connection.

2️⃣ Install the LED Kit:

Place the Bambu Lab LED Kit inside the base.

3️⃣ Attach the Bubbles:

Press-fit the side bubbles into the holes from the outside of the outer structure.
Refer to the 3D model to match the correct bubble heights.
Start with bubble 1 at the lowest hole and work your way up.
Press-fit the top bubbles from the inside of the structure.

4️⃣ Assemble the Base and Top Structure:

Insert the base into the outer structure.
Align the four slots and rotate it until it clicks into place (this also requires force).
Place the top structure onto the lamp.
Align it properly, but no need to clip it—it just rests in position.

✨ Your lamp is now complete! Enjoy the glow of your new alien egg design! ✨

I want to thank the creator of this model for the beautiful design and high-quality print preparation. The model takes quite a long time to print, but it is absolutely worth it! Unfortunately, waiting for the BL LED Kit to arrive in my country takes forever, so I slightly modified the model to fit an E27 RGB bulb. I hope the author forgives me for that. I also reduced the size of the transparent inserts a bit because I primed and painted the parts, so I scaled them down to 98% instead of 100%.

So far so good the printing is going really well. I've got the all of the base printed and am about half way through the bobbles. They fit in perfectly! I'll try to remember to post a picture of the finished lamp. Incredible work on this build!
