Bill of Materials
Description
About:
This is a completely 3D printed water lily lamp shade, no part needs support!
It is designed with as less material as possible, also so its shine through with colored filaments.
This is not an easy print! Your printer has to be dialed in or needs to be a Bambu printer :D
Print the smallest part, the "Flower Top" first to try if this works for you.
What you need:
You need a E27 lamp socket that has a M40 outer thread or has a screwable ring or other mechanism that holds this print in place.
How to print:
Print the threaded version if you have a socket with a M40 outer thread. If you dont, print the version with a 42mm hole.
I had some artifacts in the outer shell, so turning the wall printing order to outside → inside helped.
Use a brim for better bed adhesion.
The petals are just 3 layers thick so its really not the easiest print!
How to build:
Just screw on each shade one after another, the flower top first, then flower 1, 2 and then 3.
Turn until you loke the orientation of it and enjoy it!
