Wraps the edges of an Elegoo Rapid 1kg cardboard spool with 198mm diameter

Features

Instructions

• Measure your spool first to ensure the diameter matches the adapter (198, 199, or 200mm)
• >> WARNING - 200mm << - When using a 200mm adapter, flip the two AMS lock tabs under the lip of the lid to hold it slightly open to give the spool enough clearance for proper rotation. If you do not the lid will rub and prevent the spool from rotating and also scratch up your lid.
• The ‘right' ring has the filament clip must be on the right side when the spool is in the AMS.
• If you don't need the filament clip, print two ‘left’ rings.

Notes

• Print Material: I recommend PETG or PHA as they are more flexible and less prone to breakage. Many PLA filaments are very brittle and less durable.
• 200mm diameter is at the upper limit of what can fit in the AMS with the lid fully closed. When using the 200mm adapter, flip the two AMS lock tabs under the lip of the lid to hold it slightly open to give the spool enough clearance for proper rotation.
