Has anyone else gone back to improve their models after uploading? A user pointed out some issues with the original ball bearing design, so I started by reducing the support structures. After several iteration steps and tests, I ended up completely removing the supports by refining the 3D model. I’m really happy with the final outcome—no more support structures, smoother balls, and a bearing that runs much better. Both the old and improved models are included in the print profile, so feel free to print them both and compare! How do you usually approach model improvements? Can MakerWorld add snippets or something similar? Live snippets would be even better. It would be so nice to be able to insert a text block into the description of a model, and then also put that same text block in multiple other models, and update them all from one location. For example. If a user has a link to a page that allows followers to be able to subscribe to license their products from them, they can have a text block explaining that that they put at the end off all of their model descriptions. Then, if the link changes or if the creator wants to update the text, they can update it once rather than copy and pasting through all of their models. #improvement
