Description

Thank you all for the wonderful comments on the v1 and v2 of this. There are now tons of versions by other people, kinda crazy to see this idea become so popular!

This is my final version, and is a bit of an alternative to version 2 rather than a replacement. Again I didn't want to make crazy changes, but I wanted to add the ability to hold another 1-2 small non-pen/pencil items.

New:

-Added a modular system to the sides so you can store some small stuff. This is still just a small, lightweight system so none of this is design for anything really big or heavy.

-Added an “xl” version of the bodies, these are geared toward deep monitors. The “xl” version also includes a bigger front lip.

-13 different side size/shapes to choose from! If you have a specific size you want, feel free to send me a message. I tried to cover a wide range of small desk items. From post-it notes, sticky notes, lip gloss to USB drives

-Included is a normal size screw and an extra long screw.

-When printing, the printed bottom has a painted support. Because the bottom is printed on a support, the dimensions are not as exact, and the attachments tend to fit very snugly, making them hard to remove. The long tool included can help to clear that a bit (push it in there first to clear it a bit), but that side will likely always be harder to remove.

it printed perfectly, without considering these two issues: a grid flew away, and there is this strange effect on the bottom. Considering they're are hidden on the bottom, these are not huge problems, but I think it was important to mention

This is due to your build plate if it is not properly dried

I have added a print profile with the reinforced body parts. Fewer slots = less warping and breaking + 100% infill on the front lip. Had these problems on v2 sadly.

I've printed 3 sets to replace my v2 versions which seemed to be a bit too weak next to the bolts and would slowly break. This one feels sturdier. Would love to see full depth extension modules. My monitor and space around it has space in the depth.

This v3 looks more stable, at least it has bigger "carriers" from front to back. But see my message on v2, I think the model could need additional support on the connections between screw-holder and the basket. Also the front lip could need some more support material. Maybe it is enough to have it filled (red) like in my attached pictures. I will definitely try this one next, as it looks more sturdy and I need less screws. My monitor is very roud/thick on the back only providing a little space to screw them in place.

This is awesome but can you add a curve monitor option? I tried the V2 with my monitor but it didn't work.

Mine is curved and it works. What about it doesn't work for your curved monitor?

The downward angle is making it difficult to latch on to the back
