If you see a file you like just know you can sell the finished prints without a subscription or anything like that. thank you and happy printing. #Birthday #freecommercial #Freetosell #Update #Announcement

A lot of you have asked for this. I just updated the Tripod Lamp. The adapter ring (LED Kit 001 or E27) can now be screwed directly into the tripod. A new locking ring has been added to securely fasten the lampshade to the tripod. See exploded view. I hope this gives a better user experience.#Update

The community is helping me improve our Mini Pet Carrier Playset! Occasionally the loose parts inside would block the latch from opening. I upgraded the latch, so this can't happen anymore. Thank you to the community for the feedback. If you already have one printed, you won't be able to get the latch out, or if you do, your are far better at dismantling that me! If this happens to you tilt it face towards the ground at 45 degrees and give it a little shake and you should be good to go. #Pet Haven #Upgrade #Update

#Bonsai #Contests #Update #Parametric I just added a drip tray and printability impovements to my Bonzai Pot Generator which runs in Parametric Model Maker. Now I believe it is a genuinly useful model. You can create practically any custom planter, tray, container, or pot design that you could imagine. I highly recommend checking it out. With the new Print Ready feature, all parts arrange ready to print perfectly without support. I am really proud of this one, and I hope people find it cool and useful.(Edited)

Big update for Muscle Pikachu 💪⚡ I just added a new 500% scale version of my Muscle Pikachu, and it still fits on a Bambu A1. For this large version, I optimized the print setup to keep the parts lightweight while still getting a clean final result. Most parts are printed with only 5% infill, which helps save material and reduce print time. However, I added modifiers on the top sections and set those areas to 15% infill. Why? Because on large parts like these, low infill can sometimes leave the top surfaces a bit rough or uneven. By increasing the infill only in the upper areas, the top layers get better support underneath, which helps produce a much cleaner and nicer finish without making the whole part unnecessarily heavy. I also added a shoe option for the 500% version, so the shoe, laces, and sole can be printed in different colors. The small version is about 12 cm, and the giant one is about 58 cm tall. If you print the big version, I would really love to see it 😊 #Update #Pokemon #Pikachu

***UPDATE*** Hello everyone, I have a new model/model series that I am about to upload, just finishing off the final touches. It is a series where I make tiny board games like checkers and battleship and put them inside a Altoids mint tin! They are very small and pocketable, and great for traveling, hence the name, MintyGo! First from my series(hopefully) is... Checkers!!! :D 🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊😁#Vote #Newmodel #Update #Questions

A lot of support is being shown for the bastion tank, so I'll be working periodically on a version 2 with several improvements and new features. Currently very busy, I also don't want all of my time to be spent on this project primarily, so no release timeline will be provided so far :). Side note, the BulletDesigns page is almost at 10k likes, I'll be sure to release a new celebratory model for this huge accomplishment, thanks to everyone showing their support! #Update

🐰 New Wobblz for the Easter Season!! 🐰 NO MORE GLUE! I’ve redesigned the base geometry for Bunny Wobblz #10 to include a screw-in core, meaning yall no longer have to glue the two halves together. I hope this update makes assembly and weight testing much easier. I’ll be rolling this screw-core design out to more Wobblz models, both past and future, so stay tuned! [!IMPORTANT] While glue is no longer required for assembly, I still highly recommend adding a drop to the seam. A permanent seal helps ensure the internal washers don't become a potential choking hazard. Check out the description for the updated assembly instructions and hardware requirements. Hoppy Printing! 🥕#Newmodel #Easter2026 #Contests #Update(Edited)

CaseStudio Beta V2: Update & Bug Fixes
CaseStudio Beta V2: Update & Bug Fixes
It has been a really busy week behind the scenes here. First of all, thank you to everyone who has been testing the beta and sending in feedback. It is incredibly helpful to see how you are using the tool. We spent a lot of time this week digging through your reports, fixing some critical bugs, and improving the overall workflow. CaseStudio Beta V2 is now live, and we want to give you a closer look at what has changed. What's new and improved:Images for all input fields: We noticed that some of the terminology used for the case dimensions might not have been immediately clear. To clear up any confusion, we have added reference images right next to the input fields. Now, when you adjust a setting, it should be much easier to see exactly which part of the case you are tweaking, taking the guesswork out of the design process.  A much more detailed tutorial:3D printing a phone case that fits perfectly can be a bit tricky if you are new to the hobby. To help you get the best possible results, we wrote a comprehensive, step-by-step guide. It explains exactly how to set up your custom case for printing, so you can get a great result on your first try.  Better file export and pre-orientation:Downloading multiple individual files can be tedious. You can now download all your generated files nicely packed in a single zip folder. Even better, all parts are now automatically pre-oriented for 3D printing. This means you can just extract the folder, drag and drop everything directly into your slicer, and hit print without having to manually rotate the models first. Bug fixes:Model generation error resolved:A lot of you reported a frustrating issue where the models were generating incorrectly, resulting in a backplate that came out way too large compared to the rest of the case. Thank you to everyone who sent in examples of this. We managed to track down the root cause in the generation logic, and this bug should now be completely fixed.Buttons and cutouts fix:We also addressed another annoying bug regarding the phone's cutouts and buttons. Sometimes, specific cutouts would simply not show up in the final model, or the buttons would be mirrored and placed on the wrong side of the case. We have reworked how these features are placed, so everything should now be exactly where it belongs.New supported phones:We are actively expanding our device library. We know many of you have been waiting for more phones, so we added support for the following devices in this update:Google Pixel:Google Pixel 9Google Pixel 9 ProGoogle Pixel 9 Pro XLGoogle Pixel 9aGoogle Pixel 10Google Pixel 10 ProGoogle Pixel 10 Pro XLSamsung Galaxy:Samsung Galaxy S25Samsung Galaxy S25+Samsung Galaxy S25 FESamsung Galaxy S25 EdgeSamsung Galaxy S25 UltraSamsung Galaxy S24Samsung Galaxy S24+Samsung Galaxy S24 FESamsung Galaxy S24 UltraWe had our hands full with bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements this week, but please know that we will be adding more phone models and new brands over the next few weeks. Also, I will be setting up an official CaseStudio Discord server next week. I want to create a dedicated place where we can chat, you can share pictures of your successful prints, discuss slicer settings, and give direct feedback on what features you want to see next. I will share the invite link as soon as it is ready. Thanks again to everyone who reported bugs and helped improve the beta!

Getting Ready for the New MakerWorld Rules
Getting Ready for the New MakerWorld Rules
MakerWorld recently updated its rules for model thumbnails: ❌ AI-generated images are now forbidden ⚠️ Photomontages are not recommended⏳ You have less than 3 months to update your models and stay compliant. If you missed the notification, here’s the official post: https://makerworld.com/community/post/1447793My tips for clean, consistent, and compliant model photos 👇1️⃣ Keep a consistent setup I highly recommend using the same photo setup for models that belong to the same collection. The goal is to build a strong visual identity so your models are instantly recognizable. You can still create variations, for example by changing light colors, to help differentiate models within a collection.2️⃣ Lighting is everything Good lighting makes a huge difference.Personally, I use two LED lights with different colors to add depth and life to the photo:One neutral light (white or warm white)One accent color of your choice on the opposite sideThis creates soft gradients and helps highlight shapes and details.3️⃣ Use real prints (clean ones!) Make sure the printed model is clean:Remove stringingTrim small artifactsWipe dustReal, honest photos always look better than over-edited images.4️⃣ Simple backgrounds work best Neutral backgrounds (white, gray, soft gradients) keep the focus on the model. Avoid clutter, your model should be the star of the photo.5️⃣ Camera angle matters Try a slightly angled view instead of a flat front shot. Showing depth instantly makes the model more readable as a thumbnail. These rules may feel restrictive at first, but they actually help keep MakerWorld clean, fair, and consistent for everyone.Hope this helps, feel free to share your own photo tips below! 🙌
