Description

Not much to say really. I wanted to make silica box design for my vacuumed spools which is functional and easy to use.

Features:

lightweight - 17g
easy, fast printing and small footprint
no post processing - just insert the lid
click lock on the lid
fits tight on the spool
strong enough to withstand the force of the vacuum bag

Printing tips:

Can be printed from PETG or PLA. Don't use brittle type materials.

best silica holder so far! fits even rolls that are full. printed 6 of them in 1 run. used a1 with 0.4 nozzle and 0.20 settings.

Prints very nice. the lid clicks great. I don't know why, but in some spools , it's tight. in others not. all from bambu labs .

Thank you! Some spools walls distance is bigger due filament winding.

This is awesome! Is there any chance that this would be compatible with this? https://makerworld.com/en/models/73654?from=search#profileId-78102 Having a whole system that would work from drying in AMS, to in storage, to drying the dessicant in a spool dryer would be really fantastic.
