Hi fellow 3D printing enthusiast, If you find this clip useful, please consider Boosting it. Thank you.
UPDATED!!!!
Added version 2, the same clip but chamfered, giving a more smooth path to the filament when spool is spinning.
Try it! This versions profile is labeled as V2.
WHAT
Yet Another Filament Clip.
Please, support the designer using his printer profile.
WHY
Because it has some benefits over other models:
- AMS safe
- Single part
- No fasteners/screws needed.
- Specific to Bambu Lab spools.
Just print and try it: it works.
IT MUST BE INSTALLED AS PER THE FIRST IMAGE, so the filament goes from left to right through it, in the internal right side of the spool if installed in the AMS.
PUSH IN both pins at the same time or you could break one of them.
The model is intended to stay in place forever, if you try to remove and reuse it will break.
NOTES
Some happy users of this clip ask me to take a similar approach for the eSUN cardboard spools,
and you can find it here: eSUN Cardboard Spool Specific FilamentClip by ElektroQuark - MakerWorld
