Description

Full Guide: Instructables

The GP60 is a diesel-electric locomotive made by EMD in the 80s. It was used for freight trains and was known for its cab-forward design and improved fuel efficiency. Despite being largely replaced by newer models, it is still in service today.

The GP60 locomotive scale model has been designed to be highly detailed, right down to the smallest parts, such as the locomotive's handrails and headlights.

Whether it's for the Dragon Railway or as a display piece, the 3D printed GP60 locomotive scale model provides a unique and visually stunning representation of one of the most iconic locomotives in history.

Scale it by 73.56% for HO scale, I will recommend a 0.3mm nozzle for it

To scale our S scale models to other scales, S scale / scale of your choice * 100, eg 64"S"/48"O"*100=133.33%

I cannot get a decent print of the frame for this model no matter what I try. The overhangs and lack of a decent flat part to sit on the print bed are really causing problems. Can anyone share some tips for the support settings? I'm using an A1 Mini and PLA with a .4mm nozzle. I've tried regular supports, tree supports, and special profiles for PETG used as the support interface. I really want to print this for a coworker that loves trains, but it's proving quite frustrating.

Hello, good afternoon! On a link that answers whether it can be printed in G scale, it says that G scale is 1:32, and if I'm not mistaken, G scale is 1:22, is that a typo? Thank you very much in advance

Anything form 1:22 and 1:32 is referred to G scale depending on the region
