Description
Make your desk cozy with this knitted phone holder.
I modeled the entire object in Fusion, this is not just an overlaid texture like you typically see on other models. The knitted structure doesn't just look beautiful, it also feels fantastic.
I had to create multiple print profiles to achieve this perfect result.
My inner perfectionist wouldn't let me upload it any other way.
The support is not a generic one generated by MakerWorld, it is also completely modeled.
This allows you to use a different material for the support interface to ensure a super clean release.
For this, I use a combination of PLA and PETG, since these two materials do not bond well to each other, they separate very cleanly, leaving a flawless finish.

It was a lot of fun modeling the phone holder in Fusion, and I'm already thinking about what to model next.
