Description
This custom-designed rear stabilizer is engineered for pump foiling, offering a reliable and cost-effective alternative to carbon wings. Measuring 388mm wide, it provides an excellent balance of lift and glide for your pumping sessions. The mount is fully Axis compatible and is designed to attach securely to your fuselage using standard Axis stabilizer screws.
3D Printing Specifications: To ensure the wing has the necessary stiffness and durability to handle the hydrodynamic forces of pump foiling, use the following print profile:
- Orientation: Print upright (vertical) to optimize layer adhesion and strength against bending forces.
- Perimeters: 4 outer layers (walls) for a solid, watertight shell.
- Infill: 45% for a strong yet relatively lightweight internal structure.
- Material: PETG is highly recommended due to its impact resistance and slight flex, though other solid, high-strength materials (like Polycarbonate, ABS, or carbon-infused filaments) will also work exceptionally well.
This robust print configuration ensures a stiff, reliable ride while keeping the foil agile in the water.
