Instructions

Do not change any Bambu Studio settings unless you're an expert. They have been carefully tuned for quality and success.

Choose an appropriate filament for each color used in the mount. See “Print profile colors” section below.

You can choose to print with support filament for the models that require support, however, the support settings have been carefully tuned for fantastic results without it, and there is no practical benefit of using support filament.

Let the build plate cool down before you remove the print. The support structures should come off easily and cleanly. Large quarter circle supports; push hard outwards and inwards on the four sections until they detach.

Print profile colors

The print profiles are set up with 3 colored-coded filaments:

• White. Matching the globe and allowing light transmission. Choose the same filament used for the globe.
• Black. Block light transmission and is not normally visible. Choose black or dark filament color.
• Brown. Decorative purposes and meant to be visible. Choose the filament you think is most pleasing.

Some mounts are multi-colored for improved functionality. They can be printed without AMS by manually swapping during the pause, but it's entirely optional and they will work just fine printed in a single color.

Variations

If your preferred mount isn't available, or your light socket or locking rings doesn't fit, then write a comment and I can probably design a mount for it.

• Standing. Table lamp. 
• Floating. Table lamp on e.g. wavy stand.
• Hanging. Ceiling and pendant lamp.

Maximum clearance, for socket and cable bend, for standing mounts is ((recessed height + base height)). Actual measurements and options are specified on each build plate in the print profiles, and can be manually measured using the “Measure” tool in Bambu Studio.

Light sources

• LED001. Bambulab LED Lamp Kit 001.
• E13/E14 socket. E.g. IKEA Stråla. Max locking ring size 45mm.
• E26/E27 socket. E.g. IKEA Havsdjup. Max locking ring size 59mm.
