"Pro Max" MagSafe and Apple Watch Charger for M4 Mac mini

AirPower lives again… …as an absurd ‘stove-top’ camera bump for your Mac!

Keep all your devices charged without taking up any extra desk space.

This is an iPhone “Pro Max”-styled camera bump for your M4 Mac Mini, cleverly holding up to 3 (!) MagSafe chargers and an Apple Watch charger.

(Practically speaking,of course, no more than 2 MagSafe charger pucks really make sense here – there isn't practically room for using more than one for an iPhone and one for AirPods. And even that might be tight. Still, any of the three “camera lenses” can either be fitted with a MagSafe puck or a cosmetic ring and printed “lens” plate, if only for looks and fun.)

Printing

Printing is easy with the default print profile. The main base of the charger that sits on the Mac mini prints cleanly and easily with its upper-side down. Because of this choice, the “camera bump” lens rings are printed separately and snap into the base at assembly. Either a MagSafe charger or a placeholder “lens cover” then sit inside each ring.

Two variants of the lens rings are provided – one for MagSafe pucks that has a small relief for the cable, and one that is simple and continuous, used for the placeholder “cosmetic” lens covers.

Finally, I also provide a base you can use instead of the Mac mini, if you like the multi-MagSafe design and want to use it as a standalone assembly.

Assembly

Assembly is rather self-explanatory here. Put the components together such that the MagSafe cables go through the holes (between the base and top of the Mac mini) and exit at the back of the base.

Compatibility

This is drawn for the 15W MagSafe puck (pre-September 2024) and the white plastic USB-C Apple Watch charging puck. The 25W MagSafe puck (> 09/2024) will fit, but more loosely so and may require double-stick tape or glue to seat securely.

I may make alternate versions of the base and rings supporting other variants (stainless steel Watch charger, etc.) upon request.
