Description

The small and very quickly printed tool offers a simple, repeatably accurate and safe way to cut the PTFE inserts for the popular AMS protectors/savers. The cut edge remains precisely square.

This is how you can quickly and easily get the 18mm long PTFE inserts for your AMS protectors/savers. I personally recommend this length after a long period of experience with these little helpers!

The PTFE inserts in such a protector/saver are a wearing part and must be replaced (sooner or later depending on wear) - so it is a good idea to print such a PTFE cutter and then cut such inserts again as needed.

Simply push the 4mm PTFE tube (I recommend the PTFE from BambuLab Shop!) into the PTFE cutter to the end, take the two fingers in front of the finger stop and cut through the slot with the cutter knife, as shown in the pictures.

⚠️ Finger Stop helps you avoid injuring your fingers, but you have to be careful with the cutter knife! ⚠️

⚠️ How one user wrote 🙏:  “..your plate scraper will cut the PTFE tube clean enough, no need for a cutter knife!”

PLA/PETG/ABS - no matter, they all will work for this design!

🔊 This tool is a perfect help for the following AMS Protector/Saver (all Protector with the “curved PTFE path"):
