Description

In this mod for the X1C by Jorge Rui, https://makerworld.com/en/models/64650#profileId-67854, He had a light that I could not find in the American Amazon store site so I decided to use some quick modeling and some LEDs I had.

They are 24v LEDs that I have wired up and with an extra AMS cable I had I connected it to the AMS using on top of my X1C printer.

Which you can get here : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M9J3P9D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

I also included a new bracket used to connect the LED light casing to the original way he designed it to be made. When pushing the top and bottom together to complete the light, it will be a nice snug fit and has little clips that connect into from the top to the bottom.

If you are using an AMS cable to connect the 24v LEDs then use the YELLOW (Positive) and RED (Negative) wires. If wired wrongly it could leave to the port frying or the AMS board inside not working. SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION WHEN DO THIS!

Printed with excellent quality. only had some issues printing the adaptor piece which did not fit on the light holder from the raiser, however I think the problem with tolerances happened because I printed the adaptor on a different printer (Prusa MK3S+)

Which filament did you use for the bottom part? Is it just white?

Just a white filament, with the amount of LEDs I put in, its still bright but if you have clear it will help if you got less LEDs
