Description

I love the original design for the router jig, but had some improvements I wanted to make. This upload is for the screw revisions, but check out my other post for upgraded radius/fillet and chamfer inserts (which contains the Fusion files for people who want to create their own custom inserts) and this post for stackable storage trays for the inserts. I modeled everything from scratch, but it is fully compatible with the original designer's components.

The screw is threaded along the full length of the shaft, which allows for the inserts to move slightly out of place in the main tool body.

I added a non-threaded section that lines up with the existing hole that forces the screw to center rather than allowing for movement. Additionally, I would rather have a slotted screw than Phillips on this kind of tool because I can use whatever flat object/coin/washer I have lying around rather than finding a screwdriver. I modeled three screws, one slotted, one Phillips #2, and one Phillips #3.

My Fusion file is included if anyone wants to add/alter a drive type.
