Description

Description

A box designed specifically for storing cables. You can choose from one of three sizes. It has a lightweight design and requires only 65g to 85g of plastic to print depending on a size. I recommend to use PETG or PLA+ for better durability. Extended container's edge prevent cables from slipping out.
The box's dimensions are:
9 compartments - 172mm x 81mm x 60mm (suitable for A1 mini without scaling)
10 compartments - 201mm x 81mm x 60mm
12 compartments - 241mm x 81mm x 60mm

If you are looking for a box compatible with Gridfinity try my another design https://makerworld.com/en/models/510993 . I tried to keep the same lightweight concept and combine it with benefits of grid modular system. The boxes from that set are slightly bigger and heavier so it's up to you to choose which is better for your needs.

Compatibility

This organizer is ideally suited for managing short (up to several meters) flexible cables. It is not suitable for thicker or stiff cables like HDMI, DisplayPort and similar types.

Very neat idea. Unfortunately I'm running into some artifacts while printing this. It seems like the reinforcing ribs are affecting the outer wall layer. Any recommendations welcome, in case I print another :D (I guess I'll put a label or stickers over this one) Bambu A1 PLA Matte 220° ~70% Part Fan Using Orca Slicer 2.1.1

Try to use any attached profiles (bambu lab's profile should be able to open in orca slicer). "Outer/inner" order will have the most significant effect. Besides this problem you have a lot of stringing and blobs so I would suggest that filament profile isn't correct and need to be calibrated. Hope it will help.

Thanks for the tips! I changed the Walls printing order to Outer/Inner. I'm wondering if it's worth to also try printing infill first, since that's the part of the print where the nozzle moves in and ruins things? Not sure what to calibrate on the filament profile. I'm using Bambu PLA Matte with the associated profile but this roll has kind of always printed not that great? I can turn on the extrusion calibration, didn't do that this time. Update: the Outer/Inner isn't really doing much since all the walls are considered Outer walls here (orange) and the "inner" wall is actually Infill :)

Oh, you are right! With classic wall generator inner line is gap infill so wall order doesn't matter. Than I guess the only reason why straight line of outer wall isn't straight is because of residue or excessive filament on an intersection on previous layer. But I don't know what can cause this problem. I may suggest that your filament preset use incorrect flow ratio or pressure advance or temperature settings but if this preset had worked fine before than I have no idea. If you want to test different setting I recommend to add negative parts in orca slicer to get only small printable part.

Good model! I use x1c, a little flaw in the back.

That's a seam. You cannot get rid of it completely but you can place it manually on the smaller side where it is less noticeable. Or you can use my profile where I have already done this.

Not sure what happened, Bambu P1S, Bambu PETG basic. It seems to be usable, so not sure if I’ll try again

Seems like a printer issue. The print profile works for everyone else. I recommend trying calibration.

Oh it’s definetly a printer / me issue. I just started, need to play around with the settings. Any suggestions in regards to the setup? This is a new printer, I only did calibration
