I liked the idea of the vertical mount, but with having an A1 and X1C on the same table it really got to rocking. I saw the second mount with frame and decided to remix both and I took the locking screw and insert from original top mount
I didn’t have a lot of room on my desk for my A1 and the AMS lite. I tried other top mount configurations, but they were cumbersome to change the spools. I came across this model and it’s been perfect! exactly what I needed and is very stable. There is little to no movement while printing and I’ve put a good 80+ hours of print time using this. Great Print!
After looking at the different top mount solutions, I think this is the best. I'm a total novice when it comes to this stuff - my printer hasn't even arrived yet - and this will be one of my first prints.
I am confused about next steps though. The plates included are leaving some things out. Is it meant to combine with this: https://makerworld.com/en/models/434577#profileId-339399
Do I still need the original screws kit?
I'm thinking about to print this solution in order to save space on my desk and get everything more closer and polite. But, it actually rise the centre of gravity higher, and due to the speed and vibrations of the printer, I don't know if we can get the same print quality after the upgrade.
To all of those printed and are using this solution: did you make some print test and noticed differences?
Thanks.
What kind of screws we need and do you have any installation instructions please? I just received my ams and ofc without any top mount screws from bambu which are not regular ones...
