Description

UPDATE 06/17-2024:

Im sorry to read that many people have had issues with overhang, and therefore a not so pretty slope.

I have rebuild the planter up from the ground, and givin it a less steap overhang, and other minor adjustments.

 

I will set the old print profiles as DISCONTINUED, and mark the new ones with UPDATED

Make All your herbs easy in the kitchen.

This planter ensures that your herbs stay fresh and hydrated.

If you dont yourself use fresh herbs, i know this will be a great gift for those who do.

 

The Design is made to be as simple as possible, and blend into any kitchen aesthetic.

There a two different patterns, because i could'nt decide witch i liked best.

So why not upload both of them :)

 

HOW IT WORKS

The self watering planter is designed to slowly absorb water from the reservoir (This needs to be filled up occasionally).

Its a one piece print (uni body) with a clear and visible water reservoir, so you dont need to lift a inner pot, or rely on a floater to tell you how much water is left.

 

Simply just look in the in the reservoir, and fill it up if needed.

 

There are 4 water inlets in the planters, where it is recommended to use a wicking material at the bottom.

This helps to absorb water into the soil slowly and prevent excess moisture in the soil.

To much moisture can reduce oxygen in the soil, damage fine root hairs, and render the root system unable to absorb water.

You can place a couple of cotton balls / cotton wool in the bottom of the pot.

 

 

 

Basic print settings:

  • Infill : 25%
  • Walls: 4
  • Top/bottom shell layers: 3
  • No support needed

Dimensions: Diameter of 92 mm, and a total hight of 130 mm.

El diseño es increíble y se agradece muchísimo que lo comparta, pero en la descripción dice que no necesita soportes y sin embargo no queda nada bien el acabado sin ellos. como se puede ver en la foto es cierto que se imprime pero la calidad deja mucho que desear. Como consejo, yo partiría el modelo en dos que luego las piezas puedan encajar para poder imprimir por separado y solventar este error

Im sorry to see and hear about your trouble printing. But i can asure you, that the print profile works. It looks like its more a filament issue (either to much moisture or to high temp).

I'm going to have to disagree with that one. I've printed multiple of your designs straight from your print profile with multiple types of (well dried) filament and I get the same issue. Fortunately my wife liked the slightly rough look in concrete grey.
