Description

Make All your herbs easy in the kitchen.

This planter ensures that your herbs stay fresh and hydrated.

If you dont yourself use fresh herbs, i know this will be a great gift for those who do.

The Design is made to be as aesthetic as possible, an eyecather in any kitchen.

The pattern slopes ever so gently arround the planter, and together with the

colored rings it gives the look a soothing feeling.

HOW IT WORKS

The self watering planter is designed to slowly absorb water from the reservoir (This needs to be filled up occasionally).

Its a one piece print (uni body) with a clear and visible water reservoir, so you dont need to lift a inner pot, or rely on a floater to tell you how much water is left.

Simply just look in the in the reservoir, and fill it up if needed.

There are 4 water inlets in the planters, where it is recommended to use a wicking material at the bottom.

This helps to absorb water into the soil slowly and prevent excess moisture in the soil.

To much moisture can reduce oxygen in the soil, damage fine root hairs, and render the root system unable to absorb water.

You can place a couple of cotton balls / cotton wool in the bottom of the pot.

Filaments used in the print are Bambulab PLA basic white, and E3D Premium PLA silky copper.

Looks and printed amazing. Printed on P1S at .20 layer height and the model scaled up to 120%. Material used is BBL marble and iridium gold metallic.

Extremely elegant design, especially with the gold accents! One of the best self-watering planter aesthetically. When I printed mine though, the silk PLA portion on the bottom with your name seems to constantly leak a little bit of water. Not sure if it's just my silk PLA or if that area is just less watertight because of the branding

Did you use bambulab pla? and the provided print profile? mine isnt leaking. if you cant resolve the leaking, then i know that (here in Denmark) there is something called "water glass", that can be used to seal leaking pots (i dont know if exist elsewhere)

I don't know much about watering plants, but I do know something about printing.. 😉 This could be caused by a blob stuck to your nozzle during printing. Things that may help: - Use a copper brush/pincet/etc. to clean your nozzle before printing; - If you're using a silicon sock, check it's condition and make sure no filament is stuck in the worn out sock; - If you're using a silicone sock replace the silicont sock if needed or just remove it and check/clean nozzle after printing; - Print at slower speed (silent speed); - You could try drying the filament for a few hours, depending on your environment conditions; - Try different filament (depending on how sure you are about the quality of the filament).
