Thanks to cagriahiskali for the original model.

This is an add-on for “AMS Side Desiccant Magnet Version (FAST-CLEAN-EASY)”

By using this brace, you will greatly increase the holding power of your magnates (no more slipping when opening and closing the lid of the AMS), and it makes it less fiddly to install and remove when replacing the desiccant.

The original magnet holders press-fit into this brace nicely. No glue needed.

I have included a test print file. I recommend printing that first, to make sure the tolerances are a good fit for you.

I only had 8x4mm magnates, so the extra holding power has really helped in my case. And my AMS is in a hard to reach place, so the improved ease of use has been a great help too.

I have also made an all-in-one version for people that have not yet printed the magnet holders from the original version.

While this didn’t stop the desiccant containers inside from slipping/sliding on their own, it certainly helps removing/applying the magnets when needed. What ultimately helped prevent the magnets from slipping on the glossy plastic was a thin layer of foam which added that needed friction to avoid sliding.

Other Issues:Doesn’t seem to be 100% compatible with my AMS but I made it work by using two magnets to ensure it protrudes out to allow clearance for the bottom portion.
