Description

UPDATE:

A new hook structure is added, you can now attach the waste chute to the screw holes on top of the waste slide, no double-sided tape required.

But you need to replace the original M3*5 self-tapping screws with M3*8 ones. I found 2 screws of this size in the packaging of the machine however I'm not sure where it was originally used, it seems to be to hold the AMS Hub in place?

For guide waste into the bin under the printer, there is a start section, middle sections and an end section. You can print lots of middle sections to increase the length, the channel is square and the exit can be orientated in all four directions, which makes it adaptable to a wider range of bench layouts.

Installation Guide

Use double sided tape to stick the starting section to the waste outlet and then just install the rest, they are all snap on. The whole setup is very lightweight don't worry about falling off.

Printing Guide

The start and end sections theoretically don't need support, but just to be sure I uploaded the profile with a little bit of support. The middle section does not need support. The starting section and the following section need to be printed with high temperature material if you need to print high temperature material.

This looks great, I'm going to print it and give it a try. I think I might need a section to direct it back away from the printer though, as my printer can't sit right against the back edge of the workbench. Any chance you could make a middle section that is a 45 degree angle slope? That would allow for the chute to move out away from the printer to go around backsplashes or other obstacles along the back edge of the table/bench.
