I have two X1C side-by-side and for the left one there is no space for a poop chute which goes to the left side. I then discovered the model by jgreat, but I didn't liked that they look different and I didn't want a connected bucket either.
So I have designed a left-sided poop chute which visually corresponds to the right-sided one. I have also made the right-sided chute steeper.
As the distance between the printers doesn't have to be the same as mine, I created the bucket in OpenSCAD so that you can define all dimensions as you wish. So just click on “Customize”.
Btw: both chutes end at a height of approx. 65mm.
The chutes are mounted to the printer using the existing screw holes of the printer. I used the screws of the spool holder which came with the printer. The chutes have a small hole on the outside through which a hex key fits (also came with the printer).
