Description

I needed a poop bucket for my new X1 Carbon Combo printer. Since it sits on a table in the middle of a room, I just wanted something simple that would sit behind the printer and collect a normal amount of purge poop.

I found the model from V3 Precision kinda of OK, but seemed unnecessarily complex. So I took their basic model, rebranded it as Bambu Labs, added indents on both sides of the container and completely redesigned the top of the container. Its simple. It collects anything falling down the shoot. I angled the wall against the printer to be angled down so nothing would collect on it. I also lowered the height of that wall so it was well below the edge of the shoot. I also redesigned the magnet holes to fit standard metric size magnets

I have 4 plates:

Single Color, 12mm x 3mm circular magnet holes
2 Color, 12mm x 3mm circular magnet holes
Single Color, 10mm x 3mm circular magnet holes
2 Color, 10mm x 3mm circular magnet holes

I printed the whole thing sliced at a 0.24mm layer height, 2 walls, 0% infill with no issues. The text comes out fine.

It looks and works great. I'm brand new to 3D printing. You can see a slight texture change above the line where the cut-out starts. I'm not sure of this is in the model or if possibly there was a shift in printing due to an adhesion issue or belt tightness issue. It does seem odd it starts exactly at the layer where the cut-out begins though. If anyone else sees the same issue, it's probably the model. If not, it's probably an issue with my print. Otherwise everything is great.
