I've been using the spiral ball for testing the custom filament colors I've been making. Here's one of my favorites.

Thanks. Here's the model that'll do it. https://makerworld.com/en/models/477652#profileId-388743 Scroll down in the description and it shows the formula. You'll print the filament model using the colors orange, red and brown.

Spiral Vase (for Bambu Handy App)
The model is excellently designed, faithfully representing the examples on the site. The first print I made had some imperfections due to frequent speed changes. I thought the cause was the print profile, but after closing and reopening Bambu Studio every print turned out perfectly

Thank you. Those artifacts have nothing to do with the print speed. But how Bambustudio handle vase mode. It's create a sort of seam and you have zero control over it. I highly encourage you to test the fake vase mode profile. It produces flawless prints :)

Hi Henlor, it's true: the sign similar to the seam can also be seen from the preview: by rotating the model, with a bit of luck the appearance improves a lot, but as you said in this case the best thing is to print a single wall by manually positioning the seam on an edge. (I'll write everything to you in three messages because otherwise I exceed the allowed number of characters...)

If you enlarge the photo I took you will see this problem in the lower part, but in the concave part of the walls you can see a vertical sign: it is the point where the speed suddenly slows down (I could also see it very well in the preview). This one is printed in PETG-CF, I printed one in PLA and it came out better.

So in love with this model that I had to create a custom stand for it :) Thanks again!

Fake Vase Mode, no visible "seam" (BambuStudio only)
I think the models are simply superb! That's why I'm giving it five stars However, I still have a problem and I just can't find the error As you can see in the pictures, it becomes increasingly messy towards the top, but on all sides I've adjusted the settings as described in the comments, I'm now on my third attempt and have reduced the speed there (Maybe it will be better) Could someone help me I'd like them to be as beautiful as possible

EDIT: I'm printing via Bambu Studio on a Mac. The third one unfortunately also has the same reduced speed issue. Now trying via the Bambu Handy app.

On which printer did you print them? It looks like cooling issues but since slowing down the speed didn't solve the issue, that's probably not that. Does they stick well on the plate? If not, try cleaning the plate (dish soap + warn water) Also make sur you didn't change the settings of the outer wall line width. It should be set at 0.6

I'm printing with your settings from MakerWorld on the P1S The bed is brand new and clean, so adhesion is not a problem Slower speeds didn't work It only worked without errors when I tried it via the Bambu Mobile App Strange strange

Yep I know. Unfortunately I can't do much about that. This is how the slicer handles the transitions between layers in spiral vase mode :(

If you print it on OrcaSlicer there is a setting called "smooth spiral" that removes almost all of those defects. I hope this setting will be implemented inside BambuStudio as well :)

I've found a solution! I've added a new profile without any visible seam :) But it works only with BambuStudio, not the Handy App. Because it requires a change inside the printer settings ;)

Hi, I love these things! However I have problems printing about half the time. I'm hoping someone here can help! Issues: 1) Sometimes the top layer seems to be not thick enough or too small, leaving tiny gaps / imperfections 2) Sometimes the print head spits out a tiny bit of another colour 3) Sometimes there are some imperfections in the curves I'm very new to this whole thing so still learning. Please zoom in to the photo below to see what I mean. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

I thought I should mention I'm using the "Fake Vase Mode" on a P1S, with all Bambu filaments.

Hey 👋 thanks for you feedback and the boost it much appreciated. I don't know if it's related to your issue but I noticed something strange with the print profile. If you click on "Open in Bambu Studio" to download the profile. The settings are wrong, there are the same as the first print profile Spiral Vase". But if instead you click on "Download 3mf" the settings are correct. I'm puzzled, I don't understand what's happening! Can you try to download the 3MF instead of using the button open in Bambu Studio. The correct profile should look like the picture attached to this comment. Make sure to keep the custom settings when switching to the P1S printer profile and to disable "retract when layer change" in the P1S printer settings in the Extruder tab. Let me know if it helps :)
