Description

I made the next small piece of my collection, of course there are versions in multi colors! :).

The build plate guide helps you easily push the build plate to its exact location. An important aspect of the design was that it fit well, could be easily placed without much force, of course it should be easy to print and look good. Installation video in the description.

 

I do not recommend mirroring the part and moving it to the right side! According to my practical experience, it is enough to place it only on one side, it does its job well and the right purge strip is far away. Please do not upload such models, I deliberately did not post the version on the right.

Do not use PLA material for printing if you use your printer with other high temp. materials. PETG, ABS, ASA materials are printed at a higher temperature, which PLA cannot withstand. I recommend using ABS, ASA or PETG material.

What do you think exactly? I can clearly see that the top surface was at the bottom when you printed it? Thanks for helping my work with your answer!

I think that the design is good and does exactly what it supposed to do 👍 About the print, I did print it on the top surface, because I didn't want the support to ruin the connections.

Oh-my-God (preferably should be read in Janice from Friends voice). That should have been the second print after getting the printer (just after the scraper). Now it's so easy to place the plate - it just snaps in a perfect position every time. Highly recommend 👍🏻 Printed in PETG. Considering reprint in ABS/ASA in the future. p.s. You DO need one. Trust me. I'm not an engineer, but I have a 3D printer so that's like 1/16 of it.

PERFECTION! Used E-Sun PETG High Speed black filament with a 75 degree bed temp, and 12 minutes later I can line up my bed IMMEDIATELY! I love that it is barely noticable as well.
