The old bald oddball at 59°N. Tunes motorcycles, electric guitars and, well, anything with a CPU. Oh and now 3D-printers as well!

Awesome in all aspects. Ingeniously designed. Best made model I have ever printed!

Founds this excellent public domain model and since it's public domain, I remixed it and made a print profile.

Looks good, and well designed - the knob and screw can continue to move for a second or two after I give it a quick spin.

I printed in Bambu ABS and after setting shrinkage to 99.29 most parts had the correct size.
I'm a little impressed that the printer spat out this overhang beautifully but I'm much more impressed with this design - it's excellent! I will give two boosts as soon as I get new ones to spend.

I printed the 10-piece which unfortunately doesn't have the room for silicone socks. It also lacked a logo so I added it from the other model (I added the print profile for that)

I changed it to 0.08 height and Arachne and printed in PLA with high flow nozzles. Printed beautifully, easy to remove supports, easy to break loose hinges and excellent fit in all regards. Will boost.

Excellent that someone finally remixed this so one piece fits all. The other ones were silly but I never got around to remix them myself. Excellent model (the original one too). I bought profiles from Amazon that were already 400 mm and black.
Pro tip: At first I put little rubber feet under it, but it got very wobbly. Any anti-skid would need to cover the whole underside faces.
BTW the "3 to 4 units" should be "2 to 4 units" really.

Neat but I dislike the need of screws

I got a crappy vertical surface but I write it down as some dual nozzle calibration issue

Not sure what happened to the text here, but has to be a problem on my side. I’ll reprint after a cold pull

Added text and fuzzed finish. The ”80W” is misplaced, that is only a limit for the variable voltage

Ingenious design! Only problem is my PETG (Bambu) is a little soft, maybe I’ll try it in ABS instead. Maybe I’ll try 25% ironing as well.

Assembled fine with no glue or tools. a bit wobbly but works as intended. I had to reprint one of the rods, that broke when removing support
