Every time I see a 3d printed fabric, I’m mesmerized. I love seeing how differently they behave, how many shapes can they have. It’s not my first attempt at creating a fabric by myself - I sometimes sit and just try to create something that will behave and feel in a new way. I must tell you that this experiment surprised me in a few ways - first of all, it feels extremely delicate but you can still play with it a lot without it breaking (none of my test prints did, even the ones made with Matte PLA which tend to be a little more brittle than the regular one). It folds really well. Second thing is, and it was a complete surprise, that it makes a very special sound: when you take it to your ear and rub it against itself very slowly, you will hear sounds similar to what an old TV with a bad signal would make. A slime cup holder. A slime. And a cup holder. Perfection <3 Sooo I'm the kind of person who loves to fidget while working - I spend a lot of my work time thinking, so my hands are free. But I also don't want it to be too obvious that I fidget while working :D Cup holder contest gave me an idea - what if I could make a fidget toy that would also serve as a cup holder for my tea. You know, a cup holder is something you always have on your desk and it's completely normal for it to be there ;) This was the reason I created this Slime Cup Holder and I really love it. Just uploaded something new – a 3D printable fabric :) It’s like a mini chainmail – prints in one go, no assembly needed, and it moves right off the bed.

I was thinking for a while about designing some geometric jigsaw puzzle - and finally had time to do it :)
