YAYYY Another Pumpkin Jam completed!
I am super proud of this model. Submitting it now, but I am painting and turning my personal print into a little diorama/art piece to hang on the wall.

easy print, done in blue pla and ice blue matte pla and hand painted the eyes.
some of the pieces were hard to fit together. It was hard trying to figure out which leg goes where otherwise good job on the model.

Hot Take but the first image of a crowdfunding project someone sees shouldn't be a ai generated image. It shouldn't be fake or dripping in edits and blur tool and photoshopped into an ai generated image of an environment. A generated preview or overly retouched/modified one feels not genuine. It doesn't look more professional, it just looks distracting at best, misleading at worst. A photo of a product on all white background works for apple 🤷♂️
I'd rather see a real photo of the actual 3d printed model or screenshots of your 3d design software even if it is a work in progress. As a potential backer, I don't want to have to watch some video or scroll to the bottom of your page to so see a real picture to judge the quality of a project.
An edited or generated image showcase's editing skills or ai generation. A real photo showcases the creator's skill and effort into designing and modeling their project and the printability of the project.

I am very proud to share my winning entry to the 2nd ever pumpkin jam! I have implemented fuzzy skin painting based on the feedback I received and labeled the peg parts just to make assembly easier and more clear. This was the most ambitious project I have tried on my own so far and I am absolutely thrilled to have all that effort pay off. I can't wait for next year's pumpkin jam!

I DID IT! I completed my first ever jam entry for Carl's #pumpkinjam. I can't believe I made this, I was struggling with sculpting basic shapes only a week ago. It was challenging to design something so big and get it printing in only 48 hours. I had a few hiccups with making sure the connectors worked well. I didn't have much time for prototyping but I am very proud with the final outcome!

About a month ago I tried making this in tinkercad and failed miserably, but I learned how to do it in bambu studio with an svg I drew! Feels like a little triumph.

I'm very proud of how this came out! I made it in tinkercad. I am pretty impressed how detailed you can get with simple shapes.

help! Im pretty new to printing I am having trouble with what I think is underextrusion on the top layers. The bottoms print perfectly. Things used to print perfectly so I am unsure what the exact issue is. I had it go away for a little bit but it came right back.
The red and red and black cubes are from a week ago. The grey object in the 1st picture came our perfectly a week ago. The long rectangular thing on the right of the 1st and 2nd pics is the most recent print from today after all the below.
The set up: p1s and ams, hardened steel upgrades, with about 300 hrs only tpa, pla, petg
Buildplates: darkmoon g10, supertack
Things I have tried:
Different filaments including bambu matte pla charcoal and pla black
Drying filaments again
Different models
Different ironing settings (seems to not work well on underextruded surface to begin with)
Replacing dessicants in ams
Taking apart ams and looking for jams
Callibrations for the filaments flow rate
Printing only from external spool
Taking apart and rebuilding extruder
Putzing about with the screw that puts tension on the gear in the extruder
Messing with the ptfe tube holder on the top of the print head
Replacing the ptfe tube that attaches to the print head
Different nozzels (.2 and .4)
Cold pulls
Cleaning the machine
Cleaning the nozzle
Updating to newest firmware and recalibration
I have an order for cleaning filament this sunday to try that too. Any ideas of what to try?
