Hey friends, just a quick note. I've now fully converted the Fusion sources for my Storage Box model to OpenSCAD, since the Fusion version of the Customizer still doesn't support plate splitting. You'll now also have easy access to the dividers and the front plate for custom sizes. The Fusion files are still available for download as a ZIP file, to avoid the Customizer suggesting the Fusion version when you press Customize.

Hey friends, It comes in round and squircle shapes, with a flowing ribbed surface and different insert layouts for pens, pencils, markers, brushes, scissors, rulers, and the usual desk chaos. The squircle version is my favorite: soft rounded corners, but still more usable space than a round cup. If you like it, a like would be very appreciated ❤️ #Newmodel

Three sizes that fit together exactly. 16 ready-to-print profiles or fully customizable via the MakerWorld parametric model maker. Just download and print. Hey friends! I was looking for a paper towel holder for a while that would really suit our kitchen, but I couldn’t find one that felt right, so I decided to design one myself. The result is the Squircle Paper Towel Holder: calm, modern, and minimal, with a soft squircle shape and vertical ribbed detailing. The two-part design lets you mix and match colors, and it’s practical too, easy to pull and tear sheets, keeps the roll in place, and lifts it off the counter to stay safe from splashes. The model is now ready for download, and I hope it brings a little joy to your kitchen as it does to mine. Happy printing! 😊 #Newmodel

It´s rare that a model comes around where I scream "I need this now". This is one of those models. I really love the looks; the execution is great. From design this is a clear 10/10. While having to admit the profile is not the best. Had several fuses and support failures, wrong print directions and support in places where no support should ever go. It was almost impossible to remove. Tolerances vary from too loose to very tight. Some parts of the model are really awesome never seen such good execution, and in some places, it lacks the same, for example the left arm is to lose and cannot be articulated because it simply falls down, or the armor flap on the right arm. That said. I love this model, and as we only can rate the model and print profile together. It´s a clear 5/5. Looking at it makes all the hassles go away. Thx a lot for your work! It now watches over its brother 😅.

Hey friends! I’ve updated my Modular Server Rack model to include optional top and bottom covers, for those who prefer a more enclosed setup. They are now available as dedicated profile. I needed to add more network ports to my desk and used the opportunity to also rehouse the dock for my work laptop. Since my desk is still pretty cluttered, I wanted the rack closed on top so I could place things on it 😅. Let me know if this is useful to you and what you think! #Newmodel #Recently Updated

It all started with small problems. I needed solutions – so I started designing them. What began as a simple hobby turned into a real passion for CAD and 3D printing. Every model I created was something I needed. Turns out… many of you needed it too. 🧩 59 models 🧪 179 print profiles 📥 100,000 downloads That number still blows my mind. Thank you, community. Thank you, @MakerWorld . Thank you, @BambuLab . I’m incredibly grateful for every download, every print, and every like. Let’s keep designing. Let’s keep solving. Keep hustling. Keep printing. Keep creating. — @benjaminkott #Sharing Makes #ThankYou #BambuLetsMakeIt

Hey Friends. MakerWorld just released Fusion support for the Parametric Model Maker. This will allow to edit more parametric models directly in MakerWorld without the need to learn about fusion in addition to the existing excellent OpenScad integration. Would love to hear what you think? In addition, the fusion sources are still available as before, I've cleaned them up and also made improvements to the dividers as they now have slots to allow combination. But you need to scroll the timeline to the end as the current implementation of the Parametric Model Maker does not support object splitting and Multi-Plates like the OpenScad version. If you are interested in more information about the v1.0.0 Release, please head over to the forums to learn more. https://forum.bambulab.com/t/parametric-model-maker-v1-0-0-fusion-360-support/179329 Thx @MakerWorld and @pineapple_bun ! #Parametric #Update

Hey Friends, I am about to hit a huge milestone for me. 100.000 Downloads. It´s still hard to believe that so many of you downloaded my models so far. At the time of writing the counter is at 99.692. Let´s see if it cracks the 100.000 today! 23h and 45 Minutes left (Germany) ♥️.(Edited)

Hey Friends, I've updated my Switch 2 Flat Dock to unblock the airflow of the active fan of the Dock. Thx to @NameAlwaysInUse who made me aware of that! #Update #Sharing Makes

Hey Friends! I built it out of frustration (yes 2 long days 🤣) with tight cabinet space and not being able to easily access my Nintendo Switch 2: This angled stand (15° or 25°) keeps the dock stable, makes sliding in the Switch super smooth, and even allows airflow thanks to an open bottom. If you've got a Switch 2 and a small setup, it might be just what you need. Would love to hear your feedback or see your prints if you give it a go! #Newmodel #Switch2 #flatdock

🎉 Organizer Box goes Parametric Model Maker 🎉 Hey friends! About 1.5 years ago, I started diving into more complex parametric models in Fusion - not necessarily complex in design, but in how they’re built and how easily they can be customized. I just want to say a huge thank you for all the support - nearly 20,000 downloads and almost 15,000 prints. That means a lot! Even though I shared the Fusion files to help others learn, I noticed many scaled versions popping up. As a thank you, I’ve updated the model - it’s now fully ready for the Parametric Model Maker. This version really put my math skills to the test (and sparked a few “fun” debates with my wife about the right calculations 😅). But it’s done! I tried to make it as resilient and customizable as possible - so if you manage to break it, please let me know. The only thing left: take better images 🤣. Stay tuned! #Recently Updated #Thank You! #Sharing Makes @MakerWorld

Hey Friends, I am trying out this new thing called "Instagram" 😅. Yes, I know - I am late to the party (although used it the last 10 years to consume cat content 😸). Recently also started posting some of my 3D Printing stuff over there (also some work, some vacation). If you would like to follow me along - I would appreciate it. https://www.instagram.com/benjaminkott Do you have any accounts I really should follow in terms of 3D Printing or Frontend WebDesign / Content Management? Let me know! #Instagram(Edited)

Hey Friends, I've released a new model to for 10" racks. I am still undecided what thumbnail would represent the model the best. Maybe you can help me decide about the thumbnail. I am in between a blank build and a picture of my current setup. What do you think? #Newmodel #Rack10

Just noticed this topic #How My Models Get Pics after got the shots for my latest model, so here is my little mini setup. I use our normal dining table; my wife is always mad because i need to remove all her decoration and she notices every little detail i put back afterwards slightly wrong. Usually, I try to make pictures during daylight and use no external light at all. If it´s too dark outside, i use the Mini Key light to light up the room NOT THE OBJECT - because i want it to feel some kind of natural. I am still trying to improve on that 😅. I found the tip in the forums to use the 2x Zoom on your smartphone quite helpful, sometimes i use the portrait mode - but it also messes up the image sometimes, because it over blurs the background. U normally notice this as soon as you are on the PC... I live by the rule "It is what it is" and move along and not going to retake the pictures 🤣. Hardware: 1x Old Smartphone 1x Elgato Mini Mount 1x Elgato Smartphone Mount 1x Elgato Heavy Clamp 1x Elgato Mini Key light Yes, this is also my remote video conference hardware ^^. Maybe this helps, at least you now know how i try to make OK pictures 🤣.

Hey Friends, I've added a new Desktop Trash Bin to the pool. Went that route since i did not find one that checked all my boxes. This one has an optional lit, and can be used with a bag, and it hides the overhang of the bag inside the cover. Finally have something i can place next to my printers for the usual purge line collection and small failed prints 😅 and one for the desktop for smaller junk. My sister got the prototypes for the kids and gets a finished one for her breakfast table. You can color match it to your likings and can choose between an open and closed appearance. Tell me what you think in the comments. ♥️ #Sharing Makes #Newmodel
