This has been great! I bumped up the size to 125 percent and it stayed in place really well. I also increased the length and width of the slide to 125, but left the width the same. It helps it slide into the groove a bit better. One other thing is that I sanded down the corners where the slide first goes in. I was having trouble getting it started and the corners were poking through my sheets. A tiny bit of sanding was exactly what I needed.

Definitely a superior design to the original. The only thing I tweaked was to "cut" the design so the words could print flat and then be attached afterwards. Really easy to do in the slicer before printing and it saves all the filament changes.

I printed these in PETG to try to have a smoother finish. I also used a .12mm layer height for the same reason. They are a little tough to get into my hair, but they still work. I think using an even smaller layer height would help, or an acetone mist to smooth everything out. Great print!

It turned out great! The only trouble is that the tolerances are so tight, and I used silk, that the last section has trouble extending without some help. I'm thinking that playing with it will help loosen up the joints. It's beautiful regardless, and very tactile to roll around in your hands. Awesome print!

I made this to go along with the stand and it was a gift for a new sphinx cat owner. They loved it!

This came out perfectly! A friend of a friend recently got a sphinx cat, and as soon as I saw the pictures I knew that cat needed this. I know, this is who I am. haha I mailed it off and the cat's new staff was so thrilled! Thank you!

Works great! Sometimes the tape has trouble being cut by the teeth, but we use really thick tape at work, too, so that is definitely not helping.

The print itself comes out great! I used the newer handle and that helps a ton when turning the gears. The only trouble is with the cards my work uses. They are coated in plastic and don't take the pattern very well. This has nothing to do with the model or print quality, but I wanted to mention it in case others run into the same issue. I'm curious of making the tolerances tighter would help compress the this kind of card better. I can't wait to use it on my personal ones for my side business. It'll be amazing for those! Thank you!

So far so good! I won't get to use them with Japanese currency until next week, but they look great now and the "spring" function that holds the coins in looks like it'll work well. I'm also printing another set that I increased the Z axis by double to see if I could get it to carry more coins. We'll see!

These are great! They print up perfectly and I love using them at my store to give out to little kids who need something to occupy themselves while I work with the parent/guardian.

A fantastic build with a bit of a challenge behind it. And I mean that in the best of ways. With some trouble shooting abs playing around with the weights, this is going to be a clock that I hand at work now. Thank you!

I've got one of these at each of my printers and they are the best. I don't have to worry about where I'm setting the plates, if there is something underneath them I don't want them touching, and they cool down much faster. Thanks!

Such a great replacement! I printed the TPU gasket and highly recommend others to do the same. The last thing you want is to have CA glue all over. Thanks for the great file! I'll be sure to pass along a boost when I get another one.

So far so good the printing is going really well. I've got the all of the base printed and am about half way through the bobbles. They fit in perfectly! I'll try to remember to post a picture of the finished lamp. Incredible work on this build!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I didn't realize how many forms this thing could take. One of the coolest things I've printed in a long time.

This is great! My only note would be to have the opening that's in the dirt be even smaller. maybe half the size if not a quarter of the size or is now. In dryer soils the water still runs through pretty quickly and doesn't have time to absorb before spilling out of the drip tray.
