Quack. (That means follow)... I am a small creator who enjoys making things and sharing them, I have always had a passion for creating and got my A1 mini, (my first printer) in summer of 2024 and had never touched a CAD before that!
Now I use a blend of Tinkercad and Blender for my projects. If you have any ideas or question about my models feel free to reach out. I am always happy to respond.

#Questions So the new A2L has the same toolhead as the other A series and has a laser cutter attachment. Why can't you get a laser upgrade for an A1? I understand that the acrylic and wood for cutting might be to large for the A1 build plate but there should be some super easy workarounds for this e.g Bambu selling smaller sheets. Is this just Bambu trying to get people to spend more or is there a reason?(Edited)

Does anyone know if there is a way to choose separate banners for mobile and computer? My new banner looks great on the website but on the mobile app it is unusable! If not, @MakerWorld, this would be a great feature!(Edited)

#Vote #AI #AI policy I think AI models should have an identifying tag like an exclusive model tag. This leaves full transparency and saves people the time of trying to figure out whether a model is AI or not. Also maybe limiting the amount of points AI tagged models get could decrease the amount of model spamming and incentives people to learn CAD and create more quality designs.
Should AI generated models receive an AI identifying tag?

Attention Makerworld, recently AI has been a very popular discussion topic in regards to 3D modeling, this article, https://shumer.dev/something-big-is-happening, is truly eye opening on what is to come in the next few years for any job and is useful for anyone wanting to learn more about the use of AI in 3d modeling. It isn't overly optimistic but I think it is something everybody needs to read.

Is it just me or do we need to ban AI models from Makerworld, they make the platform feel cheaper and using 3D generated modeling tools develops the resource and means 3D modeling won't be a career path in the coming years. I understand beginners wanting to use AI software to create models, but using tools like that prevent the development of real 3D modeling skills.
AI models aren't of a good quality and don't deserve a place on the Makerworld platform.

The perfect way to monitor the humidity in your filament spools. It slots right in to your spool and allows you to always keep your filament in good condition.
