I am a small creator who enjoys making things and sharing them, I have always had a passion for creating and got my A1 mini, (my first printer) in summer of 2024 and had never touched a CAD before that! How to get followers on MakerworldHave you been wondering how to get your follower count up? Have you been struggling to get to that commercial license? Well, then you have come to the right place! Over the past few days I have been collecting advice from other, more successful I might add, creators. I have mixed this data with my own insight. First off BE ACTIVE IN THE COMMUNITY, engaging with people will do several things.  Help people know you exist, seriously, they can't follow you without seeing you!If you are helpful in the community people will want to follow you, give good honest feedback and give them trouble shooting beyond “clean the bed”.And remember, if you are talking with people don't beg for a follow, but depending on the situation you can ask politely. My next tip is to build a brand, keep the backgrounds of your models, make a recognizable banner and profile. If people remember you and your work they are more likely to follow. On the same line as branding try and keep your models consistent. It is a little harder to do this at the beginning, but if you focus your craft people are more likely to support you. And last but not least don't crank out simple boring models. If you focus on making extremely high quality models even if you can only uploaded every couple of months.
