Hey everyone, update on the mystery project: Its a shield, and a massive one at that! It's 95cm (37.4") in diameter, not including the few edge pieces. Based off of a Rohan Royal Guard's shield, its meant to look beautiful! Using PLA Matte Grass Green and PLA Metal Gold, the filaments contrast beautifully! With over 50 individual parts to assemble, it has added almost 100 hours on the P2S, and 20 hours on the X1C! Attached is an animation I made in Fusion 360 of the assembly process it will take to put this thing together. Its fully tab and hole assembly, not glue! Hey guys! It was pi day on the a couple days ago, so I decided that I would design something appropriate according to this. I went in fusion and uploaded a pi symbol, then I traces and extruded it. Then I just looked over the shape and looked for some way to use it other than just decor. The I saw it! I then adjusted the model accordingly, and that is what you see in the pictures!
