Description

since i got the A1 mini I wanted to make the footprint of it smaller , now I finally had some time to do it enjoy…

recommendations on the spool installation when not using 4 filaments at the same time on the AMS lite

3 filaments : 2 in front 1 in back

2 filaments : 1 front left , 1 back right or 1 front right , 1 back left

1 filament : 1 front left or 1 front right

The pins to connect the left feet and the top bar are tight and only go in one way correctly, if the holes do not line up turn them 180° until they do line up, otherwise this will end up with crooked left and/or top bar!

8 x M5 x 25mm bolts needed to assemble the whole unit.

There is a gap of approximately 1mm and there is no contact with the desktop

thats most likely printer calibration... mine printed fine although when u put the AMS system on top of it with the spools, it won't make any difference.

es y termina pareciéndose a la bambu A1 sin querer queriendo XD me encantó maximizar el espacio para poder imprimir en torre, que es algo habitual en mi laboratorio, trabajar en torre para maximizar los espacios!

Hello, thank you very much! btw why must this part be so high? Can I reduce the height a few cm ? If yes, what will be the minimum height?

otherwise the printhead will collide with the spools.

great print! Pins were an extremely tight fit and didn’t line up perfectly but it worked out. Its stable and doesn’t shake at all.

if the pins didn't line up , it means u have to turn it around, it only fits one way correctly , check mine it was a perfect fit. thanks!

Woldn't it better to have it lower? i guess it would reduce the wiggling? i would love if you could publish version with reduced height.

i wish i could design it lower , but the hotend wont allow that to happen since when the hotend goes all the way to the top it will collide with the filament spools.
