New design object is online 😊 This time I wanted to make something a little different from my usual cute models. I created a stylized goose / duck design object in two different looks: a clean low-poly version and a more artistic Voronoi version The idea was to create something that works not just as a print, but also as a small modern decor piece for a shelf, desk or display space. I really like how different both versions feel: the low-poly one looks clean, geometric and minimal, while the Voronoi version has a much more airy and artistic character. I also tested different presentation styles and color ideas, and I think the model can look great in classic black, bright silk colors, or even marble PLA. Which version do you like more — Low-Poly or Voronoi? 😊 © WunschStück3D #contests #Newmodel #ChildrensToys #Mokusystem #Questions #Sharing Makes #Comingsoon #Designer #Homedecor #Animals #Animal #New Designs #Voronoi #Goose #Duck #Lowpoly #Decor

Using Symmetry in Nomad Sculpt (World vs Local)
Using Symmetry in Nomad Sculpt (World vs Local)
Symmetry in Nomad Sculpt depends on where the axis is, not just the model.Choosing the wrong mode is why symmetry often looks “broken”.World SymmetryUses the global scene axis (X, Y, Z)Works only if the model is perfectly centeredBest for early-stage sculptsDon't use If the model is moved or rotated, symmetry won’t match anymore. Local SymmetryUses the object’s own axisFollows the model even if it’s rotated or offsetBest for posed or adjusted modelsOften fixes symmetry instantly. Common MistakeModel gets moved or rotatedWorld symmetry stays enabledResult: misaligned or drifting detailsSolution: Using World SymmetryTo use World Symmetry, the model must be aligned with the world center.1. Move to Origin Use the Move to origin / reset tool to send the object back to the world center.2. Adjust the model After moving it, manually adjust the position so it looks centered.3.Enable show line Turn on Show line to see where the symmetry plane passes. If the line doesn’t go through the middle, symmetry won’t work correctly.

Open question to all designers. At what point did you tell yourself: well, I'm going to cut hours on my "normal" job and start designing more instead? Or did you just go from school straight into designing/printing? Or did you just happen to switch jobs an decided: let's give this a go and see where it goes. I'm very curious to hear other people's experiences. #designer #Professional
When did/would you make the plunge to switch from "normal" work to "designer" work
