So, I finally finished my RC project and wanted to share my way here, from problems to the final product. I started in the middle of December and finished it now. Mayby you wonder why it took me so long, and a big factor is that I got all the electronics for Christmas and until then, I couldn't finish it. One big problem was, that the motor wouldnt start properly, so I did some research and found out that my ESC motor combo wasnt perfect. I did some adjustments and now it works ok, not perfect but ok. Anotjer problem was that my driveshaft broke on my first test ride, I printed it again with more Infill and it worked. But enough talking, I will just show some pics. This is an original body I built because I love classic pipe-frame buggies. I’m a big fan of machines like the Hirobo ZELDA and Marui GALAXY, so that vibe definitely made its way into the design. I went for a rugged, mechanical look. If you’re into old-school RC, take a look and let me know what you think! #New Designs #Newmoddel #RCCAR #RC

So, today I am gonna make a short update post because @LittleGuyModels asked for it. I actually did something in the last week, so here is what I did. I got the shocks wich were finally delivered from China. I installed them and printed some parts for an air suspension (COMING SOON). Oh, and I installed some more parts on the chassis, like these two bridges from the diffs to the gearbox. Just a short update, hope you enjoy. CyberBrick Snowcats
CyberBrick Snowcats
On Halloween I rewatched “The Thing” and got hooked again on those rugged arctic snowcats. I thought, “Winter is coming — time to build my own version on a CyberBrick base.”  That was the starting point for my first Arctic Snowcat. I wanted something compact, utilitarian and believable, sitting low on the tracks with a real expedition vibe. For the Arctic version I took inspiration from vintage machines of the Spryte 1200 era — no brand ties, just the atmosphere of polar stations, crisp snow and long winter twilights.  I printed it in PLA and spent a lot of time tuning the colors. For the “chrome” look, PLA Silk+ Silver worked perfectly for rims and small accents. Instead of plain black I used PLA Metal Iron Gray Metallic: it softens reflections, hides layer lines and makes the details feel more industrial. In the model page I listed all the filaments so you can match the palette one-to-one. The Snowcat is designed for the CyberBrick base. The fun twist is that the tracks are driven by two continuous-rotation servos. They are strong enough for this size, easy to install and make wiring very straightforward. Control is “tank style”: left stick = left track, right stick = right track. I use the standard CyberBrick joystick, and the front and rear lights actually light up. Santa’s Snowcat – when the expedition goes festive After finishing the Arctic Snowcat and seeing it on the bench, I thought: “If this works so well… why not make a Christmas version for Santa?” That’s how Santa’s Snowcat was born — similar tracked base, but with a completely different mood. Santa supposedly gave the reindeer a day off and rolled out a CyberBrick rig.)  The body kit turns the base into a red holiday truck with snowflake panels, bolt-on antlers and working headlights/taillights. It still drives like a real tracked vehicle (left stick / right stick)I provide two versions of Santa’s Snowcat: Pro and Simplified.Pro version The white cab details and the red panels are merged into single parts (cab + white trim, cargo bed walls). This allowed me to use Fuzzy Skin exactly where I wanted and keep the cab rivets white straight from the printer. It looks awesome, but it takes more time to print, especially on single-nozzle printers. If you have a dual-extruder setup or you don’t mind longer print times, go for this one.Simplified version Here all white elements are separate pieces (you might need a bit of glue in a few places). The cargo bed is split into several parts so the whole build only requires one filament swap, which is very friendly for single-nozzle machines. Visually it’s very close to the Pro version, but much easier to manage on simpler printers. For Santa’s Snowcat I printed in PLA again:Maroon Red and Matte Ivory White for the bodyIron Gray Metallic for the baseBronze for the antlers and some trim piecesThe 3MF project includes all important slicer settings, including the Fuzzy Skin areas, so you can basically load it and hit print. As with the Arctic version, you’ll need the CyberBrick kit and a 9g Continuous Rotation Servo (360°) for the drive system. A PDF guide and a bill of materials are included on the model page. Why I like this platformMy goal with both snowcats was to build a small “ecosystem” on top of the CyberBrick platform: tracked chassis, multiple bodies and seasonal themes. The servo-driven tracks keep the mechanics simple and leave room for lights, a future plow module and maybe even FPV or a camera sled later. If you decide to build one of these, I’d love to see your version. Load the bed with tiny presents, drive it under the tree and enjoy winter in style!

Get in store or on Amazon Meus servo, Not sure how powerfull it is but if its brushless it should be good.https://www.amazon.com/MEUS-Racing-Brushless-Shifting-\ Tires and rims, I think any Injora Wheels are fine, Amazon sell em. Grippyest compound is S5 and needs Beadlock rims ( if wanted but will slip if not ) Harden Steel axle ( hard to find part, Redirected to Traxxas Website Upgraded Harden Axle " Stock size ) : https://traxxas.com/9756-hardened-steel-axle-setThis part is 40 Dollars. You can probally find this in a hobby shop but idk. Injora TRX4m Harden steel axle has +2 MM which Idk if it will fit. Diff's , Im pretty sure i have these ones: https://www.amazon.com/INJORA-Alloy-Steel-Helical- Battery, i think you should get the stock TRX4m Battery because its probally best and you can get a 750 MAH or 1000MAH battery which i have. you can probally get inside a hobby shop where i got mine. Driveshafts, I think the Stainless steel ones from injora is probally the best. I have it and it works really well.. just make sure to put it in correctly so it doesn't bind. https://www.amazon.com/INJORA-Drive-Center-Crawler- Screws, Traxxas TRX4m screws from Traxxas is good and i think you can get it in hobby shops but heres the Traxxas website, This is the full kit by the way so no need to buy another. but you may need to because its 3D printed and some take more screws i think…:https://traxxas.com/9746x-trx-4m-stainless-steel-hardware-kit  If i have missed anything please contact me so i can add it, i think i have everything. Honestly i think building a TRX4m from the ground up with injora parts and real aluminum parts thats not 3D printed i think it would be even more capable because it won't break but its your choice. Welp, please do NOT remove this makerworld im tired and i have spent 3 hours writing this.

TRX4m Article if going to buy. Essay for me :)
TRX4m Article if going to buy. Essay for me :)
scroll down to see what to upgrade if want the best preformance on your trx4m, scroll to the number 1 to see list. also please read everything to catch everything but if not please go to the list so find everything. So, you came across a TRX4m article on makerworld? whatt? yes this is not a topic about Makerworld so ill add some models! So, if your planning to get one here's what you should know about it. You need to upgrade everything. other wise if you don't it will kind of fall apart. i switched every plastic part for aluminum or brass. when you get it, get a new drive shaft or at least put a shrink wrap on the O ring because if a rock pulls that, the entire thing comes right off. Yes if you upgrade everything it is a very very capable crawler. If you want a crawler, get some Injora tires! s5 compound will be pretty good because i have some and its stick's really well. you also will want brass on the front for more weight, i added RampCrab 5mm wider axles that comes with brass for the steering knuckles and steering arm. You also need new shocks too so yeah, i use the 59mm shocks from injora and their good and use 20 or less shock oil because i first used 60 weight oil and my truck was super stiff. Lastly for a crawler type TRX4m, you want crawl gears, i find the plastic ones good or you can print some on printable which i never tried but i guess it works but i would print them in nylon or a tough material. Not PLA CF tho. https://www.printables.com/model/524221-crawl-gears-for-trx4malright so if you want a Baja type TRX4m which i love and like for my TRX4m bronco. I would upgrade the tires again to injora, i also would recommend the speed or stock gears because i like the bounce on it so i would get upgraded shocks, i have the 59mm shocks from injora but any company works i guess but not cheap ones. i don't really trust Traxxas because its so expensive but i mean, its OK??? get a new drive shaft because it will fall apart because it dose suck so i use the Injora stainless steel drive shaft so yeah. what i recommend will be on the bottom of these words.ESC and Receiver, Traxxas's 2 in 1 ESC will die if used different motor, i use Injora ESC because it is very silent.  Tires, Injora tires stick well to anything because it is s5 compound so it will benefit the performance unlike traxxas stock tires.Weight, you want loads of brass because it will be have a better performance. Beadlock wheels, Brass wheels are nice and weight a bit for the truck for a better performance. this upgrade will make the tires push the car instead of the tires slipping.Servo, Stock servo won't die but it use's plastic grears so it is not recommended so i use ECO power 640T. (i had a injora servo but it died due to unknown reasons). i still do recommend the Injora Coreless servo, not Cordless, CORELESS servo.Axle links, this plastic part probably won't break but i do recommend upgrading it anyways, brass ones will improve it. Replacing the entire axle housing. Injoras is pretty good like their portal axles but this upgrade is only necessary only if you don't want any binding. Little guy racing parts do sell good axles too.Motor, there's 2 types of motors i only found out witch is a Brushed ( stock ) or Brushless motors, brushless motors will go slow or fast but it pushes power like nothing, brushed motors i guess are good like the Meus motor but i had one and it died for no entire reason and bought it about 4-5 months ago but i would not recommend that one.2 speed transmission (optional). This is good if you want to go fast or slow like me but that's too bad that i don't have it. I would recommend you the Meus 2 speed transmission because it uses metal or aluminum gears ( one of them ) but Traxxas 2 speed transmission is plastic so if it strips ( likely wont but sometimes will if something happens there are no replacements ).10. Bearing, to improve the performance instead of bushing for a smoother drive.   That's all i guess, those are the necessary upgrades but if you found a missing part then please tell me and ill add it, thanks for reading ( if you did ) but yeah. Honestly i did this because i was bored because I have nothing else to do so Byeeeeeee!
