How do you organize multiple print jobs today?
How do you organize multiple print jobs today?
Bambu Handy now includes a print queue, which is a nice addition. However, I still find myself switching between MakerWorld, Bambu Studio and Handy depending on what I'm doing.I'm currently building a small local web dashboard for my own printer that focuses on the complete workflow rather than only queuing files.Things I'm experimenting with include:Uploading local 3MF files from any browserViewing upcoming jobs in one placeLive printer statusQueue managementAutomatic handling when the printer becomes idle  What's allready done I'm not trying to replace Bambu's software—I'm trying to simplify my own workflow.I'm curious:What part of your current workflow feels most inconvenient? When do you switch between Studio, Handy and MakerWorld? If you could improve one thing, what would it be?

Have you ever wondered how few parts it takes to make actual light appear on your desk? One LED. One resistor. One switch. One coin cell. And a tiny housing that prints in ~16 minutes. That's it — that's the whole thing. 🔦 I made DIY easy light – fast print for exactly those moments when you want a quick, satisfying build that ends with something that turns on. No soldering marathon, no BOM of the length of your arm. Drop the parts in, flip the switch, done. ✨ Why you'll like it: Prints in ~16 min (3mm) / ~17 min (5mm) — one plate, no supports Beginner-friendly electronics (perfect first "it actually works!" project) Comes in 3mm and 5mm LED versions on a shared design Pick any LED color you want — make it yours🛠️ Bill of materials (cheap & everywhere):1× LED (3mm or 5mm, your color) 1× resistor (~180R for most LEDs) 1× push switch 1× 3V coin battery If this made you smile, a Boost costs you nothing and helps me keep designing 🙏 Print it, remix your favorite color, and drop a photo in the comments — I want to see your version glow. #DIY #electronics #Fast #Light #beginnerfriendly

Tired of struggling to pick up tiny heat shrink tubes or small screws from those deep, narrow storage bins? 🙋‍♂️ My fingers are simply too big for this! So, I designed this Micro Component Scoop! It’s tiny, prints in just a few minutes with ZERO supports, and perfectly slides into any tight drawer grid. The ribbed handle gives you a solid grip, and the funnel-like front makes pouring parts into zip-bags incredibly satisfying. ⚡ #3dprinting #workshop #organization #makerworld #diy

Update on the lawn mower, I have most of the basic design and components done. I have designed the main chassis, blade mechanism (just string trimmer), and drivetrain. It is basically just a wide string trimmer/weedwhacker that goes 3 times as fast as a normal lawn mower in order to compensate for lower cutting area. I am using traxxas Titan 21T standard size 550 motors for the two back wheels, a 3660 motor for the blade (I don't really care how fast the blade spins as long as it cuts, so I'm not gearing it down.) I'm currently finding a battery. I can worry about that later. I have designed it to be a speedy tricycle, so the back two wheels are powered and the central front wheel turns it. I have not designed the front wheel yet. It has sliders with spacers to adjust for height. Comment if you have any suggestions. #Diy #lawn mower #Robotics #Robot #Cool Model #Comingsoon #Current Projects #Newmodel

Pepper and idea
Pepper and idea
Привет, Maker World! Hi, Maker World! My name is German.Take a seat, my friend, and listen) I love spicy food. Trust me, I really do) I watched all those challenges with spicy chips and spicy nuts. I've bought extremely spicy stuff on marketplaces more than once and shared that "joy" with my friends. But it was all not quite it. And then one day I was watching YouTube and saw the Carolina Reaper. A pepper that people ate and just couldn't keep themselves together. And I thought: why not grow it right here?I ordered the seeds, waited two months, and here they were! Of course, as I read, it's better to plant Carolina in February… but it was already March) oh well, the seeds were planted, and there was a long wait for the fruits. And somewhere, probably at the end of August, I harvested! It was something else — I'd never eaten anything like it, it was so spicy) and I firmly decided that I would plant it every year and use it in my seasonings and sauces)But, as you know, the weather and temperature in Russia aren't the best for growing it. In February, it can be -20°C or even colder, so I had to germinate the peppers at home, on the windowsill. I'll tell you right away: not all of them sprouted. Some were closer to the edge of the windowsill, near the radiator, and others closer to the window, to the cold. The seedlings just wouldn't wake up. But in the end, those that did sprout were planted in the ground when it started to get warmer. But the weather in my region is changeable, and the cold came back. Some sprouts just died. And so, year after year. Countless attempts to grow a healthy little sprout that could survive the ever-changing weather in Russia. And at some point, I thought: what if I made a device that would help me with this? One that would maintain temperature, humidity, water the soil when needed, and feed the plants with a grow light when there's no sun. And that's when the idea of a greenhouse came to me. Yes, a greenhouse that would sit on the windowsill and help you. Your little helper, that would grow a healthy sprout for you with the help of sensors and pumps — a sprout that you could simply plant in the ground, and it would survive anything!Because I'm not the only one. I'm sure there are people who want to have a plant in their yard, at their dacha, or at home — a plant that simply doesn't grow in their region and would die without careful human care. We don't always have time for seedlings. You can always miss something, because you're human! You can forget to water, forget to close the window during ventilation — and the seedlings will die overnight! (That happened to me, and it hurt)It's also very common for seedlings to just not have their own place at home. You move them from corner to corner, hoping that all the seedlings get an equal amount of warmth and light. I think my idea — this device — can solve this problem.I'd even like to think that this would be interesting not only for adults but also for kids! To help a sprout turn into something special! A seed can grow into a flower or even a tree! You give it a start, you watch it grow, and you can even plant it in the big ground — and it will continue to live.I remember the movie Ratatouille, and there was a line from Chef Auguste Gusteau: "Anyone can cook!" And I believe that anyone can grow a plant! We just need a little help and knowledge, and I think my little greenhouse can give all of that)Friends, an important experiment! I decided to duplicate this post in Russian and English to keep the lively language and the soul of the text. For the English translation, I use DeepSeek — it turns out pretty lively, but still some shades get lost. But the platform has an auto-translate feature. What do you think: should I keep duplicating posts in two languages in the future? Or should I trust the built-in translator? Your opinion matters a lot to me — let me know in the comments! Your feedback will help me make this blog better for everyone)

Leathercrafters, this one is for you! I designed this multi-purpose helper board to solve a common pain point: pulling out pricking irons without stretching your leather or deforming your stitch holes. It also doubles as a corner-cutting template (5-20mm) and a quick alignment guide for 2.7mm and 3mm hole spacing to check your layout before you punch. 🧵✨ Check it out and let me know what you think! #leathercraft #tools #3dprinting #makerworld #workshop #diy
