Been working on this diorama project for the last 2 weeks, and finally assembled it tonight. And the verdict, it’s beautiful! It needs some touch ups and minor adjustments here and there tho. Hopefully can release the non-illuminated version in the upcoming week if time allows, and the illuminated one afterwards. I present to you: my modular prison scenery set. With 1 central pillar you can add different sizes of beams and different options to set your own scene. 2 prison cages dangling on either end? or a simple gallow with matching stool. Build it the way you want and set the scene for your next adventure. I made this design as supportless as possible. So only the hanging beams and rope needs support. The prison cages are easily opened and closed by simply taking the bottom part out. A 38 mm miniature fits easily. There is every room for a naughty D20 😉🤣 #Newmodel #diorama(Edited)

When designing miniature models, a big thing is size and size reference. Because when detailed, a miniature model can be any size when shown in a picture. But add a ruler or another form of size reference, and the size is immediatly visible. I always use a failed wizzard model-miniature to reference the size of my models, but I was sick of being confronted with my failure every time I took pictures. So I made these 32 and 38 mm barbarians, supportless and interchangable on the same base, showing their size proudly on their chest for instant size reference.
