This version fits better, is easier to carry as a keychain, and still prints in around 25 minutes with no supports. Compatible with BMW R1200GS, R1250GS and other models using the same oil filler cap design. Looked up the OEM part: Waterway 642-2800. $10 + a week of shipping. Meanwhile, my 3D printer is sitting right there. So I designed a drop-in replacement. Then I went one step further: I made a SECOND version where the bottom 1" of every slot is blocked off. That raises the gutter water level by about an inch, so the skimmer pulls from a fuller channel — better surface debris pickup, less air sucked in. You literally cannot buy this version from Waterway. It only exists because someone (me) had a printer and an afternoon. ────────── 📋 Quick facts: - Print time: ~1.5 hr each - Material: PETG or ASA (NOT PLA — it'll fail outdoors fast) - Drops into any standard 2×4 Waterway/Hayward deck channel - Two screw holes, fits the original #8 hardware ────────── 🔧 Want a different size? #Print Settings #PETG I am attempting to print a AMS riser for my printers out of Inland High speed PETG+ however the recommend print settings and infill are still causing stringing and issues such as blobs of filament here and there and a few flaws here and there. Does anyone have a profile for the settings or just even the data they could share on successful prints with this filament type so that I may try it to see if it is successful please?

I spend a day to find a way to do prints with PETG ( in my case PETG HF) on a 3D effect plate and after so many fails due bed adhesion I finally get it perfect so now I can use this amazing plates for PETG.
