2025-10-20 Update
Based on user feedback in the comments, the following updates and optimizations have been made
Changed the splicing structure at the corners, using 3D printed cross nuts to replace the previous M3 screws (the old print profile is still retained), and reduced the splicing gap. The new solution allows the entire photo frame to be assembled with 3D printed parts, no hardware is required anymore

Added a print profile for testing splicing accuracy. Users can first test slicing parameters with this profile and then print the complete model once satisfied.

3. In the original print profiles, while retaining the old solution, a new plate has been added. You can choose according to your needs.

Highlights: Simple exterior design, easy assembly, multiple sizes, easy to print, supports wall hanging and desktop display
By splicing parts together, large-sized photo frames can be printed, with a maximum size compatible with A4 paper
The back clips and hooks are in a separate print profile. All sizes of photo frames use the same set of clips
If the photo paper is thin, it is recommended to use 300gsm kraft paper or other slightly thicker cardstock as backing to ensure the flatness of the photo.
I printed directly on photo paper and thick cardstock without needing a transparent acrylic panel, and the photos were still flat.
The clip design is dual-purpose: it can be attached to the wall with double-sided tape as a hook, or used as a stand for a desktop photo frame.
To make the photo frame sturdy enough, 4 M3 x 8mm screws are needed for fastening.
If you want to place a large A4 size horizontally on a desk, you can print two hooks and insert them into the clips at the two corners to increase stability.
