Had a fun holiday weekend putting together a mini weather display with a £3 ePaper display and £2 ESP32 board.. then designed a minimalist 3D printable stand for it. It's come out looking pretty good! #Newmodel

I've had fun designing a couple of sci-fi fairy doors this weekend. First we have a door from the game Portal, and next is the Holodeck door from Star Trek! The print really nicely in a single colour or even better in muti-colour. #Newmodel

Back before I had a 3D printer, I made this kind of thing out of cardboard.. I'm so happy to be able to revisit this and print it in PLA! It's a stand for my Elecrow 5" screen, which I use with my PC to show system stats. #Newmodel

How about some fun Easter Bunny ears and basket for your Tapo webcam :) Both items have area that can be coloured using Bambulab Studio if you have an AMS, but looks great in a single colour too! #Easter2026 #Easterprints - https://makerworld.com/en/models/2465015-easter-bunny-ears-and-basket-for-tapo-cameras

Instead of the cardboard box box my Tapo webcam has been sat on for the past year, I designed a platform which has 3 variants & can be adapted to suit different heights. Makes it look a lot nicer than balancing it on old textbooks ;) I only wish that parametric designs worked through Onshape so I didn't need to do so many print profiles. #Newmodel

#Newmodel This is a mini sign maker I built recently.. it comes with a set of slot-in letters (A-Z & 0-9), and has a couple of blank tiles that let you put in your own designs. Just put it near a light and it'll shine through the front panel. Hope you like it! :) https://makerworld.com/en/models/1676529-mini-cinematic-lightbox-sign(Edited)

I created my first art/decor design today.. it's a futuristic soldier silhouette with a thin base to allow you to stick it on top of your PC monitor. What do you think? If it's something people like I'll do more :) I normally do functional prints, but thought I'd have a go at something different #Newmodel

Is this new model I created too niche/weird?? I find it great for watching content on my iPad on the bed with my knees up so that it's at eye-level. It'll extend from 10cm to 20cm, allowing you to get the perfect viewing angle and stops you getting a crick in your neck from looking down at the screen. #Newmodel(Edited)

I've enjoyed putting this mini cinematic lightbox sign together over the last few days.
I'm happy with the result & the fact it works with ambient lighting rather than needing one specifically building into the box. I think I might have to make a little container for the unused letters to go in :) #Newmodel

One of my first designs has had it's first comment from someone who found it useful other than myself.. it's a great feeling to see a picture of it in their home! :) #Newmodel #Sharing Makes

After designing functional prints for my first month of owning an A1 Mini, I thought I'd do a couple of silly designs.. my second upload of today is Micky Mouse ears for the Tapo security camera. This one was interesting to design; a University published an equation for drawing the ears.. I used that in Onshape & think they came out really well :) #newmodel

Reworked my electric vacuum screw adapter to use 47% less filament & have a better seal on the Amazon Basics bags. Hopefully useful to more than just me :D #Newmodel(Edited)

New pan lids won't fit our old holder... 3D printing to the rescue! It's so satisfying to be able to design a custom solution for mundane things like this!!

Design I made to solve an issue at work where a skylight destroys my webcam image at 10:30am without fail :D Also helps if you're using your laptop in the garden ;) #Functional Prints #Newmodel(Edited)

Enjoyed designing this remote control holder that fits to UK spec light switches - I feel like it came out well. Learning Onshape has been (mostly) fun.. YouTube tutorials help so much! #Functional Prints #Newmodel
I'd like to design one for US light switches if there's a common spec.. get in touch if you can help.(Edited)

I've created this light switch mounted remote control holder for UK spec panels. I'd like to do the same for the USA if there is a similar (common) spec, but need to get accurate dimensions for the screw thread diameter, screw head size, and the distance from the center of the screw to the edge of the light switch panel. Please get in touch if you'd like to help :)
