Description
The Hall of Central Harmony is one of the three main halls along the central axis of the Forbidden City. Initially constructed in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420), it was rebuilt in the 34th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1695). A square building with a hipped and gabled roof, the Zhonghe Hall symbolizes fairness and serenity. Its architectural style is both simple and grand, yet retains the imperial majesty. It served as a resting place for the emperor before major ceremonies and a venue for meeting officials or hosting smaller scale celebrations. The hall features a throne, an intricately decorated coffered ceiling, and an overall layout that is solemn and elegant, reflecting ancient Chinese architectural symmetry and harmonious principles.
In crafting this model, I strived for an accurate representation of The Hall of Central Harmony's style, focusing on structural and detailed fidelity to the actual building. Optimized support and joining designs ensure the model is both display-worthy and easily 3D printed. The design and finalization of this model took over a month, marking my second Forbidden City Models following the Temple of Heaven (天坛)V2.0 by Ellipse - MakerWorld.
Assembly follows the diagram below, assembling from top to bottom. Please note the distinction between the main and side entrances panel.

Printing materials: Bambu Lab PLA (matte red, blue, ice blue, and gold). Marble PLA is recommended for the base. Glue is required for the base steps and name board. The LED light is optional.
