CR-Scan Otter - TPU Bumper Case

This is a protective TPU bumper case for the CR-Scan Otter. It is bridge compatible.

[Update 2025-01-12] I have found out that some Shore 95A filament are actually harder than claimed, making removal of the case almost impossible after fitting it to the Otter. For this reason, I have updated the model geometry slightly to make removal of those filaments also possible.

It has thick hollow sections around every corner that protects the Otter from daily wear and possibly accidents!

The extra protection protects the Otter more than the regular TPU-case in case the unit is dropped.
The edges are now very squishy!

The fit is snug intentionally to make sure it wont pop of on its own.
To get the otter out of the case, use thumbs to press at one side of the front while fingers hold the back edges slightly apart, then alternate between the sides, until you get it out enough to get a good grip on the Otter.

It is made to be printed in a TPU 90-95 Shore A hardness.
The filament used in the pictures is Polymaker PolyFlex TPU95 Orange.

Please note that if printing this item, make sure the TPU is properly dried, 
and use a build plate that you are familiar with when using TPU.

Bambu Textured PEI Plate does give a great texture to the case, but it's _VERY_ difficult to remove, you need to heat the bed to 80-85C after print has finished, and then pull hard but carefully to remove it from the buildplate. Do this at your own risk!
