Introducing the Cheddar Chamber Tilting Mouse Trap 🧀🐭

Tired of outsmarted traps and mice that seem to have mastered the art of ninja stealth? Same here. After discovering a couple of mini martial artists scurrying around my house — dodging every 3D-printed trap I found online — I knew I had to level up. It felt like I was running a luxury mouse buffet instead of a trap line. Enough was enough.

So, I present to you… The Cheddar Chamber Tilting Mouse Trap! A compact and clever design built to outwit even the craftiest critters. It’s easy to set up, easy to clean, and most importantly — it works. This is my first version, but I’m already plotting a few upgrades. Still, I wanted to share it with you because, well, sharing is caring (unless you’re a mouse).

🛠️ Why it’s special

• Tilt for the win: Unlike standard traps, this one uses a tilting mechanism with adjustable sensitivity. The slider on top lets you fine-tune the trap’s responsiveness — just pop in some coins for extra weight (and extra luck!), adjust as needed, and let the hunt begin.

• Simple to print: No crazy overhangs or wild supports required. Print, assemble, and you’re good to go.

• Steel-strong hinge: I used steel wire from a paperclip for the door hinge, but you could also use raw filament (just be warned — ninja mice might chew through it).

• Bait that works: A little peanut butter in the middle of the cap, and it’s game on. Mice love it. Ninja mice? They really love it.

🐭 Humane & Customizable

This is a catch-and-release-style trap, so the fate of your furry intruder is in your hands. Relocate them to a scenic countryside view or… well, you decide.
