Description

A fruit fly trap to catch the little buggers…

This is the second version of the fruit fly trap. I hope you like it.
 

New:

  • The thread has been improved.
  • There are now two types of lids - The single-hole version now features a text "COME IN AND FIND OUT" or "TO THE HEAVEN." :)

idk what happened to one of the bottoms other 4 parts came out good

Did you make sure that the top side of the lid is facing the print bed while printing? Looking at your image, it seems like you might have printed it the wrong way around. Could that be the case? Did you use my printer profile?

I take apple cider vinegar with a bit of orange juice and a drop of dish soap

Excellent print but the flies just fly in and out throughout the day.

put a small amount of apple cider vinegar in the bottom with just a drop of dish soap, they're attracted to the vinegar and get stuck with the soap and won't fly out

Any reason to use PETG instead of PLA?

For a fruity cocktail, acidic liquids such as vinegar and/or orange juice are often used. PLA can become brittle and thus permeable as a result. PETG, on the other hand, is more resistant. Additionally, PETG is more heat-resistant, which is important if you want to clean the containers in the dishwasher or with hot water.
