Description
Support Test.
This support test assists in determining optimal settings for your filament.
The test was designed to evaluate varying upper interface Z Heights across five samples for easier support removal.
For enhanced supported surface quality, the upper interface layer count and line spacing were adjusted.

This test serves as a demonstration; select the settings most suitable for your application.
Customize the samples by removing the pre-set values and entering your chosen parameters.
Automatically generated tree supports were employed.
Printing was exclusively conducted with Bambu Lab PLA, though any material and support type may be tested.
Print in PLA and support in PETG solely for the upper interface, with a 0mm Z Height, for a cleaner surface finish.
Alternatively, dedicated support filaments are available.
The print features five samples, each with a 90° overhang and marked with its Z Height.
The slicer was configured “per object,” so exercise caution when making adjustments.
A recent update involved testing a curved surface with standard, automatically generated supports.
In this instance, print speed was modified in addition to support settings.
