The AMS Riser Holder Slider is designed to securely hold the AMS unit above the glass, allowing the glass to slide freely for improved ventilation during PLA printing.

This design offers additional benefits, such as:

- preventing the AMS unit from tipping over

- ensuring the AMS unit remains stationary when the glass is moved

- stopping the glass from falling out of place

Engineered as an accessory for a super-efficient, lightweight, and quick solution: https://makerworld.com/en/models/798702

making it a practical upgrade for your setup.

Easy print and flawless design. I even made a little remix of one to use as a simple headphone hook that works really well. Thanks for all of these, huge fan!

I don't believe that Sanja permits publishing remixes of their stuff, understandably. I shot you a message with the file, but I can't publish it for public use, again, understandably.

Oh, that's good! Maybe there is a way for me to request it?

Parts add too little space between AMS feet and glass so the glass dreams on the ripper feet of the AMS when moved. adding more clearance would definitely improve the solution.

It needs to be that way. If there is more clearance than would the glas move during the printing becouse of the vibrations.

Unfortunately this means that the glass doesn't slide independently of the AMS, it ends up taking it with it.

You need to space them out more. Have one pair of hooks right at the back and the other as close to the front of the AMS as possible. I had this problem too however it was just user error.

It printed good but it is too short for the X1C when front sliding, Can i request a version that 6/7mm higher?

That's the same for me; there are remixes that may not be published

I have the P1S and while the glass will slide a few mm higher would be nice so that the feet of the AMS does not contact the glass top for a smoother slide.

I fixed this problem with the remix myself to make it 5 mm higher so I could fit a lamp under there

Love these clips... what a great solution. Made a modification to my multiboard snaps to work with them. https://makerworld.com/en/models/864983#profileId-816020

Beautiful and practical since I'm a novice I'd like to ask when I would need to open the top glass lid

Hey. I mainly keep it open for PLA printing

Okay, thank you. Could you share what the ideal internal operating temperature is? (Because my environment is around 10-15 degrees) Previously, when I printed PLA without opening the lid, I didn't encounter any problems, so I'd like to ask for your advice 🙏

Replying to @Rkai :
You should print PLA with the door or lid open when the ambient temperature in your printing environment is high (e.g., exceeding 25°C or 77°F), leaving the door or lid open can help dissipate heat from the print chamber, preventing overheating, potential clogs and other issues. Your ambient is very low so you probably do not have such issues.

printed everything with PCTG, a very easy and cost effective Mod for the X1C, top glass slides well even without ironing, highly recommend.

Works great.

Has no one encountered difficulty with the glass sliding? The weight of the AMS can cause squeezing towards the middle.

i scalled to 110 percent it was the perfect size and clearance

I have. Not sure if it causes by additional weight of desiccant boxes I added inside AMS. But overall this is one of the best models 🫡🫡

Have not experienced this. if you can afford the very small increase in height the ams riser clips will lift the ams less than half an inch above the glass so you won't have to move it with it on the glass. the glass door and ams will slide independently of eachother.
